Why Katie Hopkins is the most hated woman in Britain

Katie Hopkins has been bragging about breaking lockdown rules while in Australia ahead of a rumored participation on the country’s version of Big Brother.

But Hopkins insists that she has done nothing wrong and that if she is the most disliked woman in Britain, it is the fault of everyone else and that our culture has lost perspective.

The British media figure was fired from her impending position on Channel 7’s Big Brother VIP over the weekend, and her visa was cancelled overnight, according to Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews.

“We will be getting her out of the country as soon as we can arrange that. I am hoping that will happen imminently,” Ms Andrews told ABC News Breakfast.

We take a look at some of the other reasons Katie has acquired the moniker “the most hated woman in Britain,” which was validated by a Go Compare poll, which found Katie to be the most despised celebrity in the UK among Brits aged 18 to 54.

She argues that her approach is ‘refreshing,’ and that it is vital for everyone to have their own point of view. She feels that when people detest her, it is simply because she has struck on something that they relate to.

Hopkins, who rose to prominence as a contestant on the British version of The Apprentice before moving into the media, has been repeatedly labeled a “racist” and a “bigot” in the British press for her views on immigrants, including calling migrants “cockroaches” and “feral” and declaring that “gunboats” should be used to prevent migrants and refugees from reaching their destination.

In 2013, she made headlines when she said that her children would not be allowed to have friends with names she believed to be lower-class, such as Chardonnay, Tyler Charmaine, or Chantelle.

‘I think you can tell a great deal from a name,’ said Miss Hopkins, 38, a mother of three, when speaking on ITV’s This Morning program. ‘For me, there’s certain names that I hear and I think “urgh”.

‘For me, a name is a shortcut of finding out what class a child comes from and makes me ask: “Do I want my children to play with them?”

When I hear screeched across the playground: “Tyler! Come back ‘ere.” It’s the Tylers, the Charmains the Chantelles, the Chardonnays.’

Katie said that overweight people are lethargic in a UK documentary a year later in 2014, when she wanted to gain weight to experience being larger bodied.

She appeared on This Morning after the experiment and declared: “I’m not lucky to be skinny… it’s really hard to be fat. Carrying this around is exhausting. Feeling my stomach sitting on top of my legs is exhausting.”

The 46-year-old is also anti-Islam, anti-immigration, and pro-Trump, and has been accused of fat-shaming on several occasions. She’s dubbed London “Khan’s Londonistan,” referring to London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who is of British-Pakistani ancestry, and said the UK has “institutionalized discrimination against whites.”

Following the Manchester bombings in 2017, Katie tweeted that terrorist attacks should be met with a “final solution,” causing her detractors to draw comparisons between Katie’s words and Hitler’s and the Nazi party’s treatment of the minority groups they targeted.

She tweeted, “22 dead – number rising. Schofield. Don’t you even dare. Do not be part of the problem. We need a final solution. #Machester.”

Katie rose to recognition after appearing on the third season of The Apprentice in the United Kingdom in 2007.

Hopkins left the competition in the eleventh week, but not before becoming one of the show’s most notable candidates due to her inflammatory words and attitude toward the other contestants.

Katie’s account was permanently deleted by Twitter last year following many bans by the site.
