Lindsay Lohan has added significant financial woes to her litany of concerns during the last week, in addition to getting detained for assault.

The IRS has reportedly confiscated all of the Liz & Dick star’s bank accounts owing to her massive debt, according to TMZ.

According to the publication, the IRS is trying to recoup $233,904 in unpaid taxes from 2009 to 2011 as well as an undefined sum from 2011.

While this may seem to be titillating, there is a lesson to be learned: don’t ignore the IRS.

According to IMDB, the 26-year-old actress only acted in two films during those years (2009’s Labor Pains and 2010’s Machete), implying that the debt was accrued via “other” activities such as public appearances.

Charlie Sheen, who co-wrote “Scary Movie 5” with LiLo, reportedly handed her $100,000 to assist her pay off the IRS, but it wasn’t enough.

“Charlie has a long history of helping out his friends in many ways, and this is just another example of that,” his representative told E! News.

Lohan is expected to make $2 million by the end of the year, but it seems it won’t be enough to satisfy her taxes, and the IRS has had enough of waiting, seizing all of her bank accounts in order to clear her bill.

Lohan has been unusually quiet on Twitter recently, and she hasn’t tweeted since her arrest last week.

After allegedly punching a fellow clubgoer at NYC’s Avenue on Nov. 29, she was arrested and charged with third-degree assault.

She was charged with three counts of lying to police hours later in connection with a June accident in which she smashed a Porsche into a dump truck on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, Calif., and then claimed she wasn’t driving.

“I can tell you when I was with her this morning, she was in great condition. She was certainly not intoxicated, certainly not under the influence of drugs. She was clear [and] lucid, her eyes were clear. No alcohol involvement whatsoever on this occasion,” attorney Mark Heller told E! News of his client. “We are going to be working very earnestly to establish that no charges should even be lodged. [The police] have already made arrangements to get the video from the…club, which hopefully will reveal some exonerating information. After that, they could just walk away from the case and decline to even prosecute.”
