Scott Disick and Amelia Gray Hamlin are no longer together.

According to Us Weekly, Amelia was the one who called it off. The couple have been dating since October 2020. It’s hardly unexpected that she ended her relationship with Scott. The two have had a tumultuous relationship in recent months.

Disick, 38, and Hamlin, 20, split after the saga, involving Disick’s alleged jealousy of Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend Travis Barker.

On Sept. 7, a source told E! News, “Amelia broke up with Scott over the weekend. Scott agreed that he feels he needs to be single right now. They had a lot of fun together but it was never going to be a long term relationship.”

Another source added, “Amelia’s done with Scott for now. She wants to be strong and to move on. She had had enough and it was time. Her friends are all rallying around her and supporting her through this. Everyone knows she deserves better. She knows it too.”

This comes after a source reported that Disick, 38, and Hamlin, 20, were experiencing problems.  The insider revealed, “Scott and Amelia are going through a rocky patch. It’s partly because of the Kourtney [Instagram DM] drama but also just ‘Scott being Scott.’ They’re not fully over yet, but Amelia isn’t happy with him.”

Scott allegedly texted Kourtney’s ex YounesBendjima a DM slamming her for her PDA with her boo Travis Barker, who then went on to expose Scott and the message.

The split comes only one day after Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’s daughter seemed to make fun of the Talentless Clothing creator on social media by wearing a t-shirt that said, “Don’t you have a girlfriend?”

The insider said, “They have been arguing a lot recently and Scott’s DMs to Younes really set Amelia over the edge. She was very embarrassed over that whole situation and Scott wasn’t very remorseful. It’s really hard to date Scott because he will never fully be over Kourtney. It’s always a point of contention in every single one of his relationships. The split was a long time coming and many of their friends agree it’s for the best.”

Disick and Hamlin, according to the insider, spent Labor Day Weekend apart.

“Everything seemed fine last weekend and then all of a sudden, they seem to be having issues,” the insider added. “They are on the East Coast separately and didn’t leave Los Angeles together.”

According to E! News, Amelia was “very disappointed” at Scott’s actions and “let him know it.” The couple had been spending time apart, but a source told Us that the separation “wasn’t related to the messages Scott sent about Kourtney” and that it was “coming regardless.”

The message was delivered alongside a photo of Kardashian straddling Barker on a boat. “Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy ,” Disick allegedly wrote to Bendjima, who then shared the DM with the rest of the world.

“Doesn’t matter to me as long as she’s happy,” Bendjima allegedly replied, adding, “PS: I ain’t your bro.”

Another insider earlier told E! News that Amelia and Scott were cooling off.

On Sept. 6, the insider stated, “They needed a break from one another, that was clear. They are in different places and trying to figure out if it’s time to move on and if they are really done.” Amelia went on to tell her Instagram followers that they should “never settle” in their relationships. Scott, on the other hand, was reportedly “mortified” by the text message release.

In October 2020, Disick and Hamlin were initially linked when they both attended Kendall Jenner’s Halloween-themed birthday celebration. In February, while celebrating Valentine’s Day, they made their romance Instagram official.

Amelia shared a message on her Instagram Stories last night that stated, “Never settle for less. Not with your jobs, your friends, and especially not with your heart. Continue to seek what you are looking for and do not shrink yourself for the sake of other people. You deserve the best.” She added “This is it” on top of the photo. That’s post-breakup energy if I’ve ever seen it.

Barker, who has been dating Kardashian since earlier this year, appeared to respond to the news by uploading a meme of Ray Liotta’s character from “Goodfellas” laughing wildly to his Instagram Story.
