Former NBA superstar Michael Jordan is facing a paternity suit filed by Pamela Smith, a woman who claims to have had an affair with him in 1995.

Smith is seeking child support payments and money for her son’s medical expenses.

She has also requested that the judge change her son’s last name to Jordan officially.

According to reports, she filed legal documents three weeks ago in Fulton County, Georgia. Smith is insisting that Jordan submit to a paternity test to prove that 16-year-old Taj is his son.

Taj, who goes by the last name Jordan, previously went on the internet to claim that Michael Jordan is his father.

Smith claims that her son, Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds, was born in June 1996, a year after she allegedly had a sexual relationship with the basketball icon.

At that time, Jordan was still married to Juanita Vanoy, with whom he had three children.

In the court documents, Smith argues that Michael Jordan should be forced to undergo a paternity test to prove that he is Taj’s father.

She is also asking the court to grant child support payments and to cover Taj’s medical expenses.

Furthermore, Smith is requesting that her son’s last name be changed to Jordan officially.

Taj’s claims that Michael Jordan is his father have been posted on YouTube. The basketball star’s representatives have declined to comment on the matter.

In 1991, Jordan was the subject of another paternity suit filed by his former lover, Karla Knafel, who claimed that he was the father of her child.

However, DNA tests proved otherwise.

Michael Jordan is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players of all time, and he is currently the owner and chairman of the Charlotte Bobcats.

He is set to marry Yvette Prieto next month.

There has been no word yet from Jordan or his camp about the paternity suit filed by Pamela Smith.

In recent years, paternity suits involving high-profile individuals have become more common.

NBA player Dwyane Wade, for instance, was sued by his ex-wife for custody and visitation rights over their two children.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber was sued by a woman who claimed that he fathered her child.

Paternity suits are usually filed to establish legal rights and responsibilities between a parent and child.

In some cases, a mother may file a suit to obtain child support from the father. In other cases, a father may file a suit to gain custody or visitation rights over a child.

The process of determining paternity usually involves a DNA test.

DNA samples are taken from the mother, father, and child, and these samples are then analyzed in a lab.

The results of the test can be used as evidence in court to establish paternity.

Once paternity has been established, the court can issue orders regarding child support, custody, and visitation.

Child support payments are usually based on the income of the non-custodial parent, and these payments are designed to provide financial support for the child’s needs.

In some cases, a father may contest paternity if he believes that he is not the child’s biological father.

This can involve a legal battle that can be both emotionally and financially draining.

Paternity suits can also have a significant impact on the child involved.

Children who are the subject of such suits may feel confused or ashamed, and they may also experience emotional trauma.

It is important for parents to handle these situations with care and sensitivity.
