Dr. Dre’s estranged wife, Nicole Young, has joined the list of women accusing the music mogul of domestic violence amidst their ongoing divorce settlement.

The Daily Mail reports that new court documents reveal Nicole accusing Dr. Dre of holding a gun to her head, punching her in the face, and lifting her off the ground by her neck.

These documents were filed just days before Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, was admitted to the hospital for a brain aneurysm.

Dr. Dre has strongly denied the allegations, stating, “At no time did I abuse Nicole or threaten her physical safety.”

Nicole, however, calls Dr. Dre’s denial “blatant lies” and has detailed the abuse she claims to have endured throughout their 25-year relationship.

Among the accusations, Nicole states that Dr. Dre held a gun to her head on two occasions, punched her in the head and face multiple times, and kicked down a bedroom door where she was hiding in 2016.

Nicole claims she currently suffers from post-traumatic stress syndrome as a result of the abuse.

Dr. Dre maintains his innocence, pointing out that the police were never called for a domestic dispute during their marriage.

Nicole agrees that the police were never called during their marriage, but notes that they were called in 1995, before the couple wed. She accuses Dr. Dre of slamming her against a wall and lifting her off the ground by her neck during this incident.

She explains that she stopped calling the police during their marriage because her fear of Dr. Dre outweighed her confidence in the police’s ability to help her.

Nicole argues that it is “revolting and insulting” for Dr. Dre to insinuate that she is lying due to a lack of documentation, as many domestic violence victims do not have such evidence.

Other women have also accused Dr. Dre of domestic violence, including singer Michel’le, who claims he broke her nose and gave her black eyes.

Michel’le further detailed the abuse in the Lifetime biopic Surviving Compton.

Journalist Dee Barnes revealed that Dr. Dre physically attacked her in 1991, and she later insinuated that the encounter involved sexual assault during an interview with Wendy Williams.

Barnes was blacklisted from the industry while Dr. Dre continued to have a successful career in music and business.

Tairrie B, a former labelmate of Dr. Dre, accused him of punching her in the face twice at a Grammy’s after-party in 1990.

Dr. Dre issued a somewhat vague apology to “the women he hurt” in a statement.
