Charlie Sheen has filed to modify his child support payments to his ex-wives Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, claiming he cannot afford the current payments.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Sheen has been making child support payments to both women since 2016.

He was ordered to pay $55,000 a month to Mueller and $20,000 a month to Richards, as well as 9.5% of his gross annual income in excess of $2.1 million.

However, Sheen has claimed that his income has “changed significantly” since then and that he has been unable to find steady work, and has been blacklisted from many parts of the entertainment industry, resulting in a significant reduction in his earnings.

Despite this, Sheen has said that he is “willing and able to provide child support” but not at the level currently required.

In the documents filed, Sheen included his income and expense declaration, which stated that he is currently in a “dire financial crisis” with an average monthly income of $2,426. Last month, his income was $37,631.

His assets, which included checking and savings accounts, stocks and bonds, and personal and real estate property, totaled approximately $5.8 million.

However, the forms did not include “additional housing expenses for the children that I have been paying for.”

Sheen shares two children with Mueller, Bob and Max, who are 9 years old, and two children with Richards, Sam and Lola.

He also has an adult daughter named Cassandra from another relationship.
