Colin Farrell, the Irish actor known for his charming bad-boy reputation, has been making headlines in Hollywood for allegedly breaking the heart of one of the most sought-after actresses in the world, Angelina Jolie.
According to rumors circulating around Tinseltown, Jolie had a crush on Farrell while they were filming Oliver Stone’s 2004 movie, Alexander.
Jolie, who is famous for leaving a trail of broken-hearted men in her path, reportedly sent Farrell sexy voicemails and videos, and the two became physically involved while working together.
However, Farrell was not interested in a serious relationship, and Jolie’s feelings were not reciprocated.
The actress visited Ireland with Farrell to promote the film, and she allegedly tried every trick in the book to win over the Irish heartthrob, but he remained elusive.
Eventually, Jolie moved on to other projects, and that is when she met her future husband, Brad Pitt, on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Farrell, who has been romantically linked with A-listers like Britney Spears, Kate Beckinsale, supermodel Naomi Campbell, and Demi Moore, was married to actress Amelia Warner for four months in 2001, a romance he described as “too fast, too young.”
The actor, who has two sons, James and Henry, has turned his life around in recent years and has given up his wild partying ways.
He can now be seen jogging on Sandymount beach and attending yoga classes near his home in Dublin. Farrell’s healthy attitude has been inspired by his two sons.
In an interview, Farrell revealed that he was a heavy smoker and used to smoke up to 40 cigarettes a day.
However, he quit smoking on his 34th birthday, and it was a conscious decision he made for his health and wellbeing.
“I did a whole ritual thing by writing a letter to tobacco, giving it as much significance as I possibly could. I’m done with it,” he said.
Farrell has also been giving back to the community and visited sick children at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin on Christmas morning.
He spent five hours with the children and their families and did not inform any photographers or press about the visit.

Farrell’s latest project is the film Ondine, where he met his co-star and the mother of his youngest son, Polish actress Alicja Bachleda. The actor has been vocal about his love for Ireland and has even purchased a house in Dublin, where he plans to raise his sons.
Despite his reputation as a ladies’ man, Farrell has stated that he has no interest in getting married again.
Instead, he is focusing on his acting career and being a good father to his two boys.
