The release of Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, “Renaissance”, has sparked conspiracy theories about the end of the world on social media.

This speculation is based on the hidden messages in the album’s promotional images, which reportedly depict the end days foretold in Revelation.

The speculation started with the horse imagery, including a striking shot of Beyoncé riding a silver horse on the album cover.

In July 2020, Beyoncé appeared atop a white horse in the movie “Black Is King”.

In August 2022, she posed with a black horse for Harper’s Bazaar, and this month she appears riding a red horse on the cover of British Vogue.

Some claim that these images depict the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who appear to mark the end of the world, with one riding a white horse, one a red horse, one a black horse, and one a pale horse.

One TikToker argued that Beyoncé was signaling the literal interpretation of the Bible’s Book of Revelation.

A 42-minute YouTube video even claimed that Beyoncé was “OPENING Demonic PORTALS in JULY.”

The writer Titi Shodiya, who has analyzed Beyoncé’s career, says the Beyoncé Apocalypse era is a natural continuation of the Beyoncé Illuminati era.

“She’s so good at what she does, she has so much influence and power, everything she does is so exquisite,” says Shodiya.

“In order to compensate for our own insecurities, we have to project. We say ‘It’s impossible. There has to be some kind of magic associated with it, or the Illuminati.’

“But really, it’s because she works really hard, she’s really serious about her craft, she takes her time, and she surrounds herself with people that she trusts that are also very talented.”

Shodiya doesn’t think that Beyoncé is trying to signal the end of the world. However, she is open to other interpretations.

The speculation about Beyoncé and the end of the world seems to be a dramatic spin on the old trope of asking celebrities to kill you.

In recent years, fans of celebrities have asked them to run them over or hit them with a hammer.

The pandemic may have amplified this trend, with some fans wanting their idol to end everything.

Some conspiracy theorists who fear Beyoncé’s dark powers appear to be welcoming her signaling of the end of the world.

YouTuber Shelby Ellimac referenced a meme that says empires generally last 250 years, and that America is 245 years old.

“The United States is definitely an empire and it’s definitely time,” she said.

“We need a reset.” Social media is rife with comments about Beyoncé being the “horsewoman of the apocalypse”.

@jvanmaraj2 tweeted, “Beyoncé riding the four horses of the apocalypse, we are about to be slayed.”

@jestom tweeted, “love Beyoncé as horsewoman of the apocalypse. end us queen.”
