Chrissy Teigen Just Got an ‘Eyebrow Transplant’
Chrissy Teigen’s brows have been reworked. The model has unveiled the results of a brow transplant she had after overplucking in her teens.
The 35-year-old uploaded three Instagram Stories on November 20 revealing the results of brow transplant surgery. “I never wear makeup if I can avoid it, so I was so excited for this eyebrow transplant surgery,” she wrote. “They take hairs from the back of your head!!”
She also described the results as “crazy,” saying she regrets plucking her brows “all off” in the past. “A little dark from the pencil,” she admitted, “but it’s so cool to have brows again.”
She snapped a post-surgery selfie to show off the results of the procedure.

“Eyebrows play a huge part of the facial aesthetic,” Teigen’s plastic surgeon, Jason Diamond, M.D., said on Instagram, posting a shot of the celebrity’s brows and saying, “Eyebrows play a huge part of the facial aesthetic. They frame the eyes and can either be an asset to the eyes, or they can be the annoying part of your morning you have to spend ten minutes filling in. I know too many people, entire generations, who either overplucked brows as part of the trend or are simply experiencing eyebrow thinning with time. #EyebrowTransplantation is a procedure where we mutually agree on shape, density, etc., and skill takes it from there.”
The star showed off her post-surgery results, warning teens to not over-pluck their own brows.

Teigen isn’t the only celebrity to entrust her cosmetic operations to Dr. Diamond, who has appeared in both E!’s “Dr. 90210” and Netflix’s “Celebrity Plastic Surgeons.”
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, she had buccal fat reduction in September, which includes eliminating the buccal fat pad behind the cheekbones to make the face look more sculpted. “Since I quit drinking, I’ve really seen the results. And I like it,” she said in an Instagram Story.
The actress also said that she underwent armpit liposuction and had Botox injections in her armpits to reduce sweating.
Teigen joked to Byrdie in 2017 that “everything about me is fake except my cheeks. I’m not shy talking about that sort of thing. I have no regrets.”
Chrissy Teigen has previously opened up about going under the knife.
