Bill Gates and Melinda Gates, the billionaire power couple, shocked the world when they announced their separation on May 4 after 27 years of marriage.

The divorce of Bill and Melinda Gates appears to have opened a Pandora’s box in terms of the former couple’s personal lives.

According to a former employee, Bill would arrive at the workplace in a Mercedes and leave in a golden brown Porsche after only one hour. It was a well-kept secret that he would be meeting with other women, or so most of his coworkers thought.

Vanity Fair reported the former staffer as saying, “We all assumed that it was when he was with women… I knew there were many offsite meetings that were not on his calendar.”

“I knew there were many offsite meetings that were not on his calendar,” added the employee.

According to his staff, this is how the businessman used to hide his actions. The magazine’s report went into great depth about Bill Gates’ long-standing rumors and repeated adultery.

It’s unclear how much Melinda was aware of these alleged infidelities or rumors, but sources close to the couple say there had been issues between them for some time. The graduation of their youngest daughter, Phoebe, from high school is claimed to have been the only reason for the divorce being postponed.

Vanity Fair stated, citing two people acquainted with Gates and Melinda’s marital condition, that someone in Melinda’s network hired a private investigator, which led to the divorce filing. A spokesman for Melinda denied the charges, calling them “completely false.” He said, “Neither Melinda nor anyone at her direction ever hired a private investigator.”

Another colleague, on the other hand, denied that Gates utilized a specific Porsche to meet ladies, claiming that he was careful in his planning and notoriously divided his time into five minute blocks.

The employee told the publication that vanishing from the office was unusual for him, since he was “one of the most intensely scheduled people on the planet.”

Another element in the divorce is an inquiry into a connection Bill had with a Microsoft employee, which caused him to resign from the board of directors.

According to a New York Times article, while Gates was chairman of Microsoft, he pursued women in the office. He allegedly sent an email to a Microsoft employee inviting her out to dinner. He also informed a lady who worked for the Gates Foundation that he wanted to take her out to dinner when they were on a business trip.

Numerous Microsoft workers were allegedly forced to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) in order to prohibit them from discussing his managerial style.

Gates is a huge lover of high-end automobiles, particularly Porsches. The billionaire businessman just acquired an electric Porsche Taycan. Gates previously owned a Porsche 911 from 1979 as well as a Porsche 959 Sports.
