Kyle Sandilands, an Australian radio personality, has dismissed allegations that Zac Efron has had cosmetic surgery.

The Australian radio DJ, 49, who has known Zac for years, put an end to speculation on Friday’s Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“It’s like getting a Picasso and having a kid finger paint all over it,” Kyle Sandilands explained. “Why bother?”

He continued, “I would know if he’d had any plastic surgery.” Well, anyone who compares Zac to a Picasso seems trustworthy to me. Zac’s been a heartthrob since he rose to fame as a teenager in the High School Musical movies. Now, he’s 33, so he’s bound to look different, ppl!!

On April 22, Efron was spotted with a considerably broader face when he featured on Facebook Watch’s Earth Day! The Musical. His cheekbones and chin were more noticeable, and his biceps appeared larger than normal. Fans theorized that his allegedly transformed appearance may be due to a variety of factors ranging from implants to fillers to dental surgery to allergic responses to camera angles.

Sandilands stated that the plastic surgery allegations are “of course” incorrect.

It’s well known that Efron fractured his jaw in 2013, although it’s unclear whether the previous injury has anything to do with his “new” look.

Sandilands isn’t the only one who has called time on the story. His remarks came just a few days after celebrity doctor Dr. Youn provided his professional view.

‘Everyone is talking about Zac Efron and how strange he looks,’ Dr Youn said in a now-viral TikTok video. ‘Has he had surgery to reshape his jawline, Botox or fillers?’

‘I don’t think so. I actually think he has had dental surgery, not plastic surgery.

‘That’s why he is swollen [along his jaw]. If you’ve had your wisdom teeth taken out, did you look like this?’

This isn’t the first time Efron’s appearance has gotten a lot of attention. After being recognized for his muscular figure for years, the “Greatest Showman” star debuted a more relaxed appearance for his Netflix series, “Down to Earth,” which premieres in 2020. Fortunately, fans didn’t seem to mind.

Efron has yet to speak on the matter, and unless pressured by the press, he is unlikely to do so. While in the public spotlight, the former Disney star has experienced a number of bodily changes. Zac discussed the “stupidity” of it all after becoming brutally ripped for the hit Baywatch. “I realized when I was done with that movie I don’t ever want to be in that good of shape again. Really. It was so hard,” he stated on the YouTube series Hot Ones.

“You’re working with almost no wiggle room,” he candidly continued. “You’ve got things like water under your skin you’re worrying about. Making your six-pack into a four-pack. Shit like that that’s just not… it’s just stupid, it’s just not real.” Hopefully, the public will move on and stop making comments about the star’s appearance and instead allow him to pursue what he loves.
