In a new interview, Ed Sheeran’s manager called Princess Beatrice of the United Kingdom a “f—ing idiot” for allegedly slicing the singer’s face open with a sword during a drunken party — and disclosed that people tried to persuade him to cover up the incident.

Sheeran was involved in an accident in 2016 while partying with James Blunt and Princess Beatrice at Prince Andrew’s Royal Lodge of Windsor.

As a joke, the royal was said to have pulled a ceremonial sword from the wall in an attempt to knight Blunt, but she accidentally slashed Sheeran’s face. Sheeran, who never mentioned the Princess in public, needed stitches.

Stuart Camp, Ed’s manager and right-hand man, has spoken out for the first time about the incident, slamming the 32-year-old princess.

On the podcast “Straight Up,” Stuart Camp, who has managed the ginger-haired warbler since 2011, said, “I got quite protective over that, we’ve never publicly commented on it.”

“Some people said, ‘Oh, you should lie and say it wasn’t her and say it was someone else,'” Camp recounted the aftermath. “I said, ‘Well, we’re not telling anyone anything.”

“I’m not lying, just because someone’s a f***ing idiot,” he told The Daily Telegraph.

“Because they’re thinking, yeah, I will get paralytic and take a sword off the wall.

“You’re just asking for trouble.

“You know, we’ve not heard hide nor hair from her since.”

In 2017, Blunt claimed the story of how Sheeran got his scar on his face was a complete lie.

“Ed was drunk, messing around, and he cut himself,” he had explained. “We made a fancy story up; people fell for it. It was very embarrassing.”

Bea is reported to have swung the ceremonial sword over her shoulder without realizing the singer was standing behind her, and Ed was transported to the hospital.

“He could have been blinded,” a source stated at the time.

“I can’t talk about it. I don’t know what will happen if I do!” Sheeran remarked on “The Graham Norton Show” in 2017, seemingly confirming the weird cover story.
