According to Halloween legend, Watson spotted her fictional partner in crime while he was out trick or treating. She walked over and asked, “Excuse me, are you Harry Potter?”

When the boy said yes, she responded, “That’s great, because I’m Hermione Granger and we’re best of friends!”

This generation has looked up to the 25-year-old as a role model. Emma is respected and rightfully so, from her fearless advocacy of feminism to the inspiring talks. This encounter provides a glimpse of her down to earth character.

The Harry Potter magic has been in force again this week, with phenomenal demand for the sold-out Harry Potter And The Cursed Child play, seeing the booking period extended until January 2017.

J. K. Rowling, who announced the stage show in June, confirmed that the two-part play will follow on directly after the final book’s epilogue, which was set 19 years in the future.

The magical franchise has swept the globe since the release of Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone book in 1997, with the seven-part literary series being made into eight wildly successful films.

In a statement on her website, the esteemed author explained that the play would be set nearly two decades in the future and follow both Harry’s work at the Ministry Of Magic, the government within the magical world, and also follow his son Albus.

Fans scrambled for tickets when priority booking for performances from June 7 to September 18 2016 opened at 11am on Wednesday morning but seats sold out quickly.

Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the eight Potter films, can be seen as Belle in 2017’s live-action Beauty and the Beast.
