Chet Hanks, the troublesome son of Hollywood actor Tom Hanks, is being sought by British police after reportedly trashing up his London hotel room and leaving £1,200 in damage.

When the rapper checked out of the Arora International Hotel, workers discovered a TV ripped from the wall and shattered glass littered throughout the room.

Officers were collaborating with overseas law enforcement agencies to track down Hanks, 24, who has struggled with drug addiction.

Hanks had been photographed in the VIP area of a local nightclub, where he was seen consuming champagne and vodka.

Chester Hanks is also accused of being so ‘loud and obnoxious’ that other hotel guests complained about the noise, prompting a receptionist to tell Hanks to turn down the volume.

‘He was pretty obnoxious once he started drinking at the club. He kept saying “do you know who I am?”‘ a source told The Mirror.

“After partying at a club in the capital, he then went back to the hotel with a British actor friend and three female promoters. He was sick in the car park and then went up to the room and got really loud,” a source said.

“He asked the girls if they would join him but they are not like that. So, he started screaming and making a right noise… all you could hear was this smashing and crashing.

“Next morning he was gone but the room was trashed. Everything was smashed and there was glass all over the floor.”

“We were called at 3.15pm on Friday (29 May) by a member of staff at the Arora International hotel in Crawley to a report that a guest had caused an estimated £1,200 of damage to a hotel room,” a Sussex Police spokesman said.

“We have been given the name of a suspect – a 24-year-old man from the USA – and we are currently working with other agencies to try to trace him so he can be interviewed.”

Hanks, who goes under the stage name Chet Haze, is said to have been partying in London in recent weeks.

On his Instagram account, he has a variety of images taken throughout the capital.

He shared a photo of a Post-It note with the words “Never be afraid to say f*** you” scribbled on it on Monday.

Hanks, who made his acting debut at the age of 17 in the Indiana Jones movie Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, is close to his 58-year-old father, who is currently filming Dan Brown’s best-selling novel Inferno in Hungary with British actress Felicity Jones.

The two-time Academy Award winner’s films have grossed more over £5.5 billion worldwide, making him one of the highest-grossing actors in cinema history.
