Birkhead declined to participate in the project, stating that he did not want his daughter involved in an “overwhelmingly poorly reviewed cesspool of a project about her mother.” He added that he was looking forward to a “true, definitive Anna Nicole project” that would provide a more accurate portrayal of her life.
