Jenna Ortega, the star of ‘Wednesday,’ has recently been seen smoking cigarettes in a viral video.

This led to fans condemning her for smoking and calling it “disgusting” on social media.

However, some people came to her defense stating that she is an adult who can make her own decisions.

Despite the mixed reactions, Jenna Ortega’s mother, Natalie Ortega, seemingly responded to the viral photos of her daughter smoking by posting about the dangers of lung cancer.

In a since-deleted Instagram Story reposted on Twitter, Natalie shared a series of posts that warned against the dangers of smoking.

Her first Story post was a meme featuring Gollum from The Lord of the Rings along with the caption: “Don’t believe those lies about cigarettes being bad for you.

I’ve been smoking for most my 21 years and I feel great!” She then shared screenshots from an article discussing how smoking cigarettes is a leading cause of lung cancer, as well as the lingering effects of smoking – such as “cigarette stench”, “damaged teeth and gums”, “cataracts,” and “brittle bones.”

Although Natalie made her stance on the topic of smoking cigarettes very clear, she concluded her social media posts with a heartwarming quote about motherhood.

“A mother is always a mother.

She never stops worrying about her children, even when they are all grown up and have children of their own,” it read.

Fans took to Twitter to share their reactions to Jenna Ortega’s mother calling out her own daughter for smoking.

One user said, “Jenna Ortega’s mom is sending shots at her own daughter about smoking via her Instagram story ain’t no way,” while another user stated, “Jenna ortega’s mom posting this on her insta story after the pics of Jenna smoking a cigarette…Latina moms r ruthless.”

This isn’t the first time Jenna Ortega’s mom has gone viral online.

In April, Natalie shared a post praising both Jenna and her sister, who pursued a career in medicine, for their success.

On Instagram, she shared two photographs side-by-side of Jenna’s sister, Mia, dressed in scrubs alongside a picture of Jenna at a red carpet event.

“Two of my girls wearing very different outfits and doing very different things in life,” she wrote.

“Both came from me, and both raised by me.

I’m equally proud of both of them and love them very much #proudmom.”

Jenna Ortega also has four other siblings – her eldest brother Isaac, eldest sister Mariah, and youngest twins Markus and Aaliyah.

Jenna Ortega is a 20-year-old American actress who rose to fame with her role as Ellie in the Netflix series ‘You.’ She also starred in Disney Channel’s ‘Stuck in the Middle’ and played a young Jane Villanueva in ‘Jane the Virgin.’ Her recent role in ‘Wednesday,’ a spin-off series of ‘The Addams Family,’ has gained a lot of attention due to her portrayal of the iconic character, Wednesday Addams.

In an interview with Variety, Jenna Ortega revealed how she created Wednesday Addams’ viral dance for the Netflix show.

She stated that she wanted to incorporate the original Addams family theme song into the dance and make it modern.

She worked with a choreographer to create the routine and added her own flair to it.

Jenna Ortega is not the first celebrity to face backlash for smoking cigarettes.

Many public figures have been criticized for promoting unhealthy habits, especially to their young fans.

However, as adults, they have the right to make their own decisions about their personal lives.

In conclusion, Jenna Ortega’s mother seemingly called her out for smoking cigarettes by sharing the dangers of lung cancer on her social media.

Despite the mixed reactions from fans, it seems that Natalie Ortega’s opinion on the matter is the most important to Jenna.

This incident highlights the importance of being aware of the health risks associated with smoking and making informed decisions about our personal habits.
