A new book by Christopher Anderson, These Precious Few Days: The Final Year of Jack with Jackie, has revealed that Marilyn Monroe told Jackie Kennedy that she would marry JFK while he was president.

Although it is no secret that the President had an affair with Marilyn, her bold statement to the First Lady about marrying the President was new information.

According to reports, during the call, Monroe informed Mrs.

Kennedy that the President was going to marry her before his term was up.

When Jackie responded to her, she said, “And you’ll move into the White House and you’ll assume the responsibilities of first lady, and I’ll move out and you’ll have all the problems.”

Julie Miller of Vanity Fair commented on Jackie’s response saying, “Point: Jackie.” Anderson’s work claims that the First Lady knew about the President’s affairs and was generally unconcerned.

However, he says Monroe did worry her because she understood the national fallout if the scandal became public.

Reports suggest that Mrs. Kennedy was more uneasy about the movie star due to Monroe’s certainty that she would soon marry the President.

“Can’t you just see me as first lady?” Marilyn was said to have asked a friend.

The book also reveals that Monroe was a frequent visitor to the White House, and the President had a special phone installed in her home that connected directly to the Oval Office.

The two were believed to have had a romantic relationship that lasted for several years.

In 1962, Monroe famously sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to JFK at a Democratic Party fundraiser at Madison Square Garden.

Her sultry performance in a skin-tight dress remains one of the most iconic moments in American history.

The relationship between JFK and Monroe has been the subject of much speculation over the years.

Some have suggested that their affair was part of a larger conspiracy involving the Mafia, while others believe that it was simply a love affair between two famous people.

Regardless of the details, the new book provides insight into the final year of JFK’s presidency and gives readers a glimpse into the private lives of some of America’s most famous figures.

While the revelation that Monroe told Jackie Kennedy that she would marry JFK while he was president is surprising, it is just one of many secrets that have come to light over the years.
