Hollywood actors and actresses have shared their most embarrassing and awkward moments during s=x scenes in films.
While some stars have claimed to have fun while filming these scenes, others have admitted that it can be embarrassing and uncomfortable, especially when crew members are watching. Some of the most cringe-worthy moments are recounted below.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who played McLovin in Superbad, revealed that his mother watched him shoot a s=x scene because he was underage.
“It was because I was 17,” he told GQ. “Stupid law. I was just sitting there with my bors on, waiting for my mom to drive down to the set. She got there, and I had fake s=xual intercourse in front of her.”
While filming The Change-Up, Ryan Reynolds accidentally removed Olivia Wilde’s pasties and forgot his lines. Reynolds said, “At some point in the scene, she takes my hands and puts them on her breasts.
I take my hands away and I look down at my hands, and there are two frickin’ smiley faces on them, and I have no idea what to do.
And I reflexively, like an idiot, just put my hands right back on her breasts!”
Henry Cavill, the star of Superman, said that he once got a boner while filming a scene for Showtime’s The Tudors.
“A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts, and I hadn’t rearranged my – stuff into a harmless position. She’s basically rubbing herself all over me and, um, it got a bit hard,” he told Men’s Health.
“I had to apologize profusely afterward. It’s not great when you’re in a professional acting environment and somebody gets a boner, is it? No, not acceptable.”
During a s=x scene in Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke had a laughing fit because Jason Momoa was wearing a fluffy pink sock instead of a modesty sock.
“It’s huge, and it’s pink, and I don’t know what to do,” Clarke said on The Graham Norton Show.
During a s=x scene with Eva Longoria in Desperate Housewives, Jesse Metcalfe got a little too excited and “needed a minute” to relax afterward.
“As a matter of fact, in the first scene we ever had, where Gabriella and John first had s=x, we were rehearsing, and then the director was like, ‘OK, get out of bed, we have to reset the set,’ and I was like, ‘I need a minute,’” Metcalfe said on a radio station.
To avoid penetration, Shameless star Emmy Rossum used a “vag pad,” which is a little triangular panty liner that sticks to the skin.
She revealed this while appearing on Chelsea Lately.
Rossum also said that sometimes the man wears a sock, and when the actors move too much, it can create a “slippery” situation.
While filming a s=x scene for their TV show The Last Man on Earth, Kristen Schaal accidentally farted on costar Will Forte.
Schaal told Seth Meyers that she proceeded to keep farting and farting. “If you fart on your scene partner, it’s the most intimate you can get,” she said.

“I have to remove my trench coat and be nude underneath,” Hathaway told Hollywood Life.
“And I thought we were filming, but it turned out we were just rehearsing, and I got unnecessarily naked in front of a lot of people!”
Kate Winslet said that filming s=x scenes is not her favorite thing to do. “I hate it! Listen

Dakota Johnson had to wear a flesh-colored thong during her s=x scenes with Jamie Dornan in the Fifty Shades of Grey film franchise.
Johnson revealed the uncomfortable wardrobe choice during an appearance on The Ellen Show.
“It’s not, like, actual underwear,” she said. “I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s, like, flesh-colored… It’s adhesive, but it’s not sticky. It’s, like, if you have to do a quick change, you just, like, slap it on. It’s not painful… I mean, it’s barely anything.”
That Time James Franco and Sienna Miller Had to Get Creative
When James Franco and Sienna Miller filmed a s=x scene for the movie Camille, they had to get creative to make it look realistic without actually being naked.
“We did this scene where we have s=x on a desk and there were articles written about the fact that we had s=x on a desk,” Franco said on Conan.
“But we were wearing clothes and it was, like, a Styrofoam desk… [But] we had to do things so that it looked real, like, we had to put our mouths in certain places and she had to put her hand down there, and we had to do things so that it looked real, but we were clothed.”

It was very, very, very dumb of me. I’m still not sure how I feel about it.”
That Time Halle Berry Got Handsy
During her s=x scene with Billy Bob Thornton in Monster’s Ball, Halle Berry decided to make the scene more realistic by putting her hand where it shouldn’t have been.

“That s=x scene – I’m screaming through the whole thing,” Dunst told The Hollywood Reporter.
“We started at 7 in the morning and filmed all day, and it was one of those scenes where you’re just like, ‘Let’s go for it.’ I think I broke a blood vessel in my face.”
That Time Elizabeth Olsen Got a Little Too Into Character
Elizabeth Olsen had to film a pretty intense s=x scene for the film Oldboy, and she ended up getting a little too into character.

Olsen also admitted that she and her costar Josh Brolin had to do some “meditation” before the scene to calm their nerves.
That Time Naomi Watts Was Totally Exposed
Naomi Watts had to film a nude scene for her film Sunlight Jr., and it was so cold on set that her body went into full-on shock mode.
“It was in the middle of winter in a freezing cold studio, and I was completely exposed.
And I was shaking uncontrollably, my teeth were chattering, and I’m supposed to be making love, basically, with this man I barely knew,” Watts told The Daily Beast.
“The whole crew was watching, and there were some guys who were new, and they were trying so hard to keep their eyes averted, but they just kept drifting back over to look. I was like, ‘Hey, I’m down here!’”

That Time Shia LaBeouf Was Told to Stop Touching Himself
Shia LaBeouf has a reputation for being a little…eccentric. And while filming the film Nymphomaniac, he was apparently too into character.
“There’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we’re doing it for real,” LaBeouf told MTV. “Everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening.” The actor also revealed that during one particularly raunchy scene, the director had to step in and tell him to stop touching himself.
That Time James McAvoy Was Too Good at Faking It
James McAvoy had to film a s=x scene for his film The Conspirator, and he was so good at faking it that the director had to step in and make it more believable. “I had a love scene with Evan Rachel Wood and they were like, ‘Can you do it again, but can you make it look like you’re enjoying it a bit more?’” McAvoy told Conan O’Brien. “I was like, ‘Really? Okay, I’ll try.’”
