Actress Eva LaRue has come forward with allegations of s**ual harassment against Steven Seagal.
LaRue, who is best known for her role in “CSI: Miami,” spoke about the incident in an interview with Deadline.
She revealed that when she was 22 years old, her agent set up an audition for her at Seagal’s house.
LaRue was hesitant about going to Seagal’s house for the audition, but her agent assured her that the reason it was at his house was because they hadn’t secured their studio offices yet.
At the audition, there were two other men and a woman who was supposed to be the casting director.
Seagal then led her to another room, where he was dressed in a kimono.
“It was like a literal casting couch,” LaRue said.
“And as I was walking towards the couch, with my back towards the door, he’s busy closing and locking the doors behind my back.”
“I go to sit on the couch, and he comes towards me and he’s opening his weirdo kimono.”
Seagal then offered her a drink, and LaRue quickly fumbled to get the door unlocked and made a “beeline” out of the house.
Although he never physically touched her, the encounter was unsettling, she said.
“All these agents back then knew what was going on for ages. Thanks for not telling us. Everybody knew but us actors. But nobody followed up or anything,” LaRue said.
LaRue is not the only actress to come forward with allegations against Seagal.
Earlier in the week, actresses Jenny McCarthy, Portia de Rossi and Julianna Margulies also shared their own experiences with the action star.
McCarthy claimed that Seagal asked her to undress during an audition for “Under Siege 2,” while de Rossi alleged that he unzipped his pants during a private audition.
Margulies claimed that she had to physically dodge Seagal’s advances during a meeting about a potential role.
Seagal, who has faced numerous allegations of s**ual harassment and assault over the years, has not yet responded to the recent allegations made against him by these actresses.
In 2018, two women accused Seagal of rape, while several others have accused him of inappropriate behavior.
In response to the allegations, Seagal has denied all claims of wrongdoing.
LaRue’s allegations come amid a growing number of women speaking out about s**ual harassment and assault in Hollywood and other industries.
LaRue’s story is part of a broader movement to change the culture of Hollywood and other industries, and to ensure that all workers are treated with dignity and respect.
By standing up against s**ual harassment and assault, we can create a safer and more equitable workplace for everyone.
