Gary Busey groped 3 girls & bribed cops to shut them up

Actor Gary Busey has been charged with four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact, and harassment for allegedly groping three individuals at the Monster-Mania Convention in Cherry Hill on August 13, 2022.

According to police affidavits, Busey allegedly groped two victims’ b-tt-cks and tried to unhook the bra of a third victim while putting his face near the person’s br–sts.

Busey initially denied groping anyone before requesting that police apologize on his behalf to the victims and convince them not to press charges against him.

Busey also claimed it was possible to accidentally touch people on a certain body part.

The Inquirer obtained the criminal affidavits, which provide new details about the case.

One victim reported that Busey had asked them “where she got them” after putting his face near the person’s breasts.

Additionally, Busey allegedly pushed police officers to convince victims not to report the incident.

A spokesperson for Busey could not be reached for comment on Monday, and an attorney representing Monster Mania LLC did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

TMZ later posted a video in which Busey denied the allegations, saying, “None of that happened. They made up a story that I assaulted them sexually, but I did not.”

The Monster-Mania Convention, where Busey was scheduled to appear, issued a statement on Saturday stating that it was assisting the police in their investigation.

The convention’s management also encouraged attendees to file a police report and announced that Busey had been removed from the convention after receiving a complaint from attendees.

Busey was one of several sci-fi and horror film alumni who were scheduled to appear at the Monster-Mania convention, including Ralph Macchio, Tom Skerritt, and Lance Henriksen.

Multiple outlets reported on a video of Busey sitting on a park bench in Malibu with his pants down, which was reportedly filmed one day after he was charged with sex crimes.

Busey, who lives in Malibu, California, has appeared in over 100 films, including The Buddy Holly Story, which earned him an Oscar nomination, Lethal Weapon, Predator 2, and Point Break.

He is known for his often bizarre behavior, which some attribute to a serious motorcycle accident in 1988 that caused him to suffer head injuries.

Busey was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

In 1995, Busey was arrested on drug charges after he took a near-fatal overdose of cocaine at his Malibu home. He has also been arrested twice on charges of spousal abuse.

In 2012, he filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, with reported liabilities of $500,000 to $1 million.
