Actor Drake Bell, known for his roles in Nickelodeon’s “The Amanda Show” and “Drake & Josh,” allegedly threatened suicide after a falling out with his estranged wife, according to a 911 call made by an officer from the Orlando Police Department.

Bell had briefly gone missing, and the officer was trying to locate him through his cell phone.

The officer stated that they were dealing with a “possible attempted suicide” and that Bell had sent a text message to his family in California stating that he was going to “get drunk and hang himself.” The officer also mentioned that Bell was staying at a hotel in Orlando.

The alert was issued on Thursday, along with a photo of Bell, who was last seen wearing a black shirt, baseball cap, and matching wide-rimmed glasses.

The alert stated that Bell should be traveling in a 2022 gray BMW and his last known location was potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9 PM.

He was considered missing and endangered.

However, within a few hours, Bell was found safe and sound.

He tweeted, “You leave your phone in the car and don’t answer for the night and this?” with a laughing emoji.

Bell and his wife, Janet Von Schemling, had separated in January and were headed for divorce.

The couple had started dating in 2013 and married in 2018.

An insider told Page Six that Von Schemling “had enough” and was getting support from family after the split.

Bell had also entered treatment.

Bell had been spotted in public on Tuesday during a trip to SeaWorld in Orlando with his son.

A fan who saw him said he was “nice and soft-spoken, but seemed fine.”

Bell’s career started in the late ’90s when he was cast in “The Amanda Show.” He then went on to star in “Drake & Josh,” which aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2007.

Bell also released music albums and toured extensively.

However, he was arrested in 2015 for driving under the influence and pleaded guilty to charges of endangering a child.

In 2020, Bell was accused of abuse by his ex-girlfriend, Melissa Lingafelt, who claimed that he had physically and verbally abused her during their relationship.

Bell denied the allegations, and the case was eventually dismissed.

Bell has not commented further on the incident or his mental health.

It is unclear if he is still in treatment or seeking additional help.
