US sources have revealed that supermodel Irina Shayk, the ex-girlfriend of Bradley Cooper, suspected the actor of having an affair with Lady Gaga prior to their split.

The 33-year-old Shayk reportedly moved out of their shared home earlier in June, soon after Cooper’s steamy performance with Gaga at the Oscars.

According to insiders, the couple had been fighting constantly, often over Gaga.

Irina was said to have been uncomfortable with their close bond after he “started spending time with Gaga at odd hours”.

Rumours about the couple’s troubles had circulated for some time, with many speculating that the Oscars performance had put a strain on their relationship.

A source speaking to Radar Online said that “Bradley’s relationship with baby mama Irina began to really fall apart when he started filming with Gaga and she accused him numerous times of cheating on her with his co-star.”

According to the same source, “Ever since then, Irina has not been able to trust Bradley at all”.

Gaga, however, has always maintained that she and Cooper were just friends. Referring to their sensual Oscars performance, she said: “Yes, people saw love. And guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see.”

Gaga and Cooper had given a sizzling performance of “Shallow” at the Oscars in February, with fans admitting they thought the co-stars had “amazing chemistry”.

Their close friendship seemed to cause an issue with Irina, who unfollowed Gaga on Twitter.

The singer, however, blasted her fans while on stage after they heckled her by asking where Bradley was just days after his split with Irina.

The singer was performing in Las Vegas when she lost her temper with the taunts, amid speculation that Gaga’s chemistry with her A Star Is Born co-star played a factor in his break-up.

Before performing “Shallow”, she told the crowd: “And one more thing, be kind or f**k off.”

Gaga and Cooper have been friends for a long time, and their relationship was forged while making A Star Is Born.

Cooper himself admitted to being intimidated by Gaga’s musical abilities when they first met, and Gaga revealed that she bonded with Cooper over their shared experiences of grief.

Gaga also spoke of how much she enjoyed working with Cooper, describing it as “a dream come true”.

Gaga had previously been engaged to music mogul Christian Carino, but the pair ended their two-year relationship in February.

Last week, Shayk moved out of the home she had shared with Cooper. The couple had been together for four years and have a two-year-old daughter together.

Following the break-up, Shayk kept a low profile, but over the weekend, she posted pictures from her new fashion campaign shoot in Iceland.

Meanwhile, Cooper has been promoting his new film, Avengers: Endgame, and has not commented publicly on the split.
