In a recent interview for Interview Magazine, Courtney Love was asked 20 questions by a variety of figures from the music and fashion industries, including Debbie Harry, Michael Kors, Aaron Sorkin, Marilyn Manson, and Lana Del Rey.

of the questions posed was about her experiences with the paranormal, to which Love responded with a haunting memory.

Actor Joshua Boone asked Love if she had ever seen a ghost.

To this, Love replied that when she had moved into a new home in Hancock Park with her then-boyfriend Edward Norton, she had a brief encounter with the ghost of her late husband, Kurt Cobain.

Love stated, “I saw Kurt in a chair for a moment. He said hi to me and then he left.”

Love was also asked about her thoughts on the music industry today, in light of her own experiences in the 90s as the frontwoman of the band Hole.

In response to a question from former Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur, Love pondered on how her career might have been different if she were starting a band today.

Love mused, “If you were now 25 years old, starting a band, how different do you think your lyrical content and references would be?”

“I very much wonder how a 21st-century Courtney Love would be and what she would sing about.”

In the same interview, Love talked about the potential reunion of Hole, who formed in 1989 with Eric Erlandson on guitar, Mike Geisbrecht on guitar, Lisa Roberts on bass, and Caroline Rue on drums.

The band hasn’t performed together since 1998, but Love expressed excitement about the possibility of marking the 25th anniversary of their seminal album ‘Live Through This’ with a reunion tour.

Love stated, “We are definitely talking about it. There’s nothing wrong with honouring your past; I’ve just kind of discovered that.”

“If you don’t, people will rewrite history and you will become an inconvenient woman.”
