Katy Perry’s eye ‘glitched’ mid-concert, viral video shows
Katy Perry has revealed that the strange glitch in her eye during her Las Vegas concert was just a stunt.
“Welcoming all my #flatearthers #spaceisfakers #birdsarentrealers #skyisntbluers to come see my broken doll eye party trick IRL in Vegas next year! đ,” she captioned a video of the alarming moment that she uploaded on Instagram.
The pop star went on to jokingly add, “Heck I pour beer out of my tits (thatâs a party trick too⊠I donât actually lactate hops silly goose!)đș.”
Perry, 38, used the viral video to announce that her Las Vegas residency had been extended with 14 more concerts.
She told her fans that the show’s set list is “a fun [roller coaster] through memory lane going all the way back to 2008.”

Perry described the show as “a nonstop party about finding unconditional love and strangely (for me) not political at all.”
The singer also expressed her excitement at performing again next year.
“Hope to sing along with you in 2023! And weâll drink, this oneâs on me, cause weâre all #chainedtothealgorithm đ€Ąâ #therealproblemlolhahađ ,” she concluded.
Earlier this week, fans were shocked and concerned when a video showed Perry’s right eye seemingly opening and closing uncontrollably.
“Her clone was glitching. Thatâs scary,” one person wrote on TikTok. Another person commented, “Her robot seems to glitch a lot.”
A third person added, “That bitch is a robot omg we been knew,” while someone else joked, “she lost the wifi connection.”
Some speculated that the incident was caused by Perry’s eyelash glue making her lids stick together.
The alarming incident occurred as Perry celebrated her 38th birthday with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, and their 3-year-old daughter, Daisy.
“Every time i blow a candle out i always wish for you. 38 and grateful â„ïž,” Perry captioned a photo of her family’s hands this week.
Bloom also posted a sweet birthday tribute to Perry on his Instagram.
“Each time we take a trip around the sun and get to celebrate you, Iâm reminded that on this journey together and whatever the weather Iâm always smiling đâ€ïžđ,” the “Lord of the Rings” actor said.
Bloom, 45, and Perry got engaged in February 2020 and welcomed their daughter in August of that year. The couple has been dating on and off for three years.
Bloom was previously married to Miranda Kerr, 39, from 2010 to 2013. The ex-couple shares an 11-year-old son, Flynn.
