Singer Adele is reportedly expanding her business ventures with the launch of a lingerie brand in the US.

The 34-year-old artist’s company, Melted Stone, has filed an application to trademark the phrase “1, 2, Free” for a range of goods including “articles of underclothing.”

This follows the successful approval of the trademark in the UK.

In addition to lingerie, Adele is planning to sell a variety of items such as jewelry, perfume, clothing, luggage, headgear, bags, backpacks, wallets, and key fobs in the US market.

According to a source in the music industry, “This venture could see her selling a wide range of items – particularly in the lucrative American market, where she is huge.”

The source went on to say, “It shows that, as well as being a great singer-songwriter, Adele is a canny businesswoman.”

Adele is currently performing at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum as part of her “Weekends With Adele” residency in Las Vegas.

These gigs were postponed for almost a year due to Adele’s dissatisfaction with the production.

The singer’s spokesperson has not yet commented on the plans for the lingerie brand and other merchandise. However, the trademark application in the US is still under review.
