Nicole Kidman has recently opened up about her struggles with miscarriage in an interview with Tatler magazine.

Kidman and Tom Cruise were married in 1990 and soon after, Kidman suffered an ectopic pregnancy, which occurs when a fertilized egg implants outside of the uterus.

The couple lost the baby at 23 weeks and Kidman described the experience as “massive grief.”

Kidman emphasized that the loss of a miscarriage is not discussed enough and can cause a great deal of pain for women.

She said, “There’s a huge, aching yearning. I know the yearning. And the loss! The loss of a miscarriage is not talked about enough. That’s massive grief to women.”

In 2001, Kidman suffered a second miscarriage, around the same time that Cruise filed for divorce.

In an interview with Marie Claire in 2007, Kidman said that from the moment she and Cruise were married, she wanted to have children.

She said the loss of their first baby was “very traumatic” and it was then that they decided to adopt their daughter Bella.

Kidman and Cruise have two adopted children, Isabella and Connor, while Kidman also has two children with her husband Keith Urban, Sunday and Faith.

Kidman has been open about the challenges of balancing her career and motherhood, saying in an interview with The Guardian, “It’s hard, it’s really hard. But it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”

Kidman has received critical acclaim for her acting roles and has won numerous awards, including an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and four Golden Globe Awards.

She has also been recognized for her philanthropic work and was appointed as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF in 1994.

Despite her success, Kidman has not been immune to personal struggles and has candidly discussed her experiences with miscarriage and the impact it had on her.

She hopes that by speaking openly about it, she can help other women who have experienced similar losses.

Kidman is not the only celebrity to open up about the pain of miscarriage.

Many other women in the public eye, including Chrissy Teigen, Gabrielle Union, and Lily Allen, have also shared their stories in an effort to destigmatize the issue and provide support for other women going through the same thing.
