Actress Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to four months in jail for the theft of a gold necklace from a shop in Los Angeles.

The necklace was valued at $2,500. Lohan pleaded no contest to the charges, which is effectively an admission of guilt under California law.

It is expected that she will serve just 17 days of her sentence under house arrest.

In addition to serving time in jail, Lohan will also be required to complete a number of other penalties.

She has already begun serving 300 hours of community service at a women’s shelter, and will also complete 120 hours of community service at the coroner’s office in Los Angeles.

Lohan will also be required to take an anti-shoplifting class.

She will be on probation for the next three years as well.

The theft for which Lohan has been sentenced occurred while she was already on probation for a previous drink-driving case.

The theft was reported to police by a jewellery store in the Venice area of Los Angeles, and it took place just three weeks after Lohan was released from rehab, where she had been receiving treatment for drug and alcohol addiction.

At the time of the theft, Lohan also tested positive for alcohol.

In a statement, Lohan said that she hopes to be able to fulfill her obligations without attracting media attention.

She stated that she believes the media spotlight should be focused on issues such as homelessness and domestic violence rather than on her personal life.

Lohan is best known for her roles in the films Mean Girls and Ugly Betty.

Despite being sentenced to jail, it is unlikely that she will actually serve time behind bars due to prison overcrowding.

Officials at the pre-trial hearing indicated that this is the case.

The actress has until June 17th to report to jail to begin serving her sentence. It is not yet clear how the jail time and other penalties will impact her career.

Lohan has had a tumultuous personal life in the past, with a number of legal and addiction issues.

She has been in and out of rehab and has faced a number of other legal problems as well.

It is hoped that this latest sentence will serve as a turning point for the actress and that she will be able to get her life back on track.

The theft of the gold necklace took place last year, and Lohan has now been sentenced for her involvement in the crime.

She pleaded no contest to the charges, which means that she effectively admitted guilt.

As a result, she has been sentenced to four months in jail, although it is expected that she will only serve a portion of that time under house arrest.

In addition to her jail sentence, Lohan will also be required to complete a number of other penalties.

She has already started serving 300 hours of community service at a women’s shelter, and will also be completing 120 hours of community service at the coroner’s office in Los Angeles.

She will also be required to take an anti-shoplifting class, and will be on probation for the next three years.
