Jared Leto turned 50 last week, and he commemorated the occasion with a rather standard photo of himself eating a slice of birthday cake.
On Sunday, the Academy Award winner celebrated his milestone birthday with a shirtless photo that demonstrates his agelessness. “Thx for all the bday wishes!” Leto wrote to his combined Twitter and Instagram followers of 14.4 million.
In the picture, Jared can also be seen eating a slice of rainbow cake and giving a thumbs up, revealing his gleaming abs. It’s unclear where the photo was taken, but given the blood flowing from the corner of his lips, it looks to have been taken on the set of his next Marvel vampire film, Morbius. Jared also has some nasty scratches on his chest.
“How are you 50,” one of the top comments on the post said, echoing the sentiments of many who saw the photo of the seemingly immortal Leto.
In the past, the actor has joked about being a vampire because of his young looks. He uploaded side-by-side closeups of his face in 2008 and 2016, with no discernible difference in 2019. In the caption, he wrote, “Not sure who made but funny. Amazing what a little human blood will do.”
Last year, the actor from the House of Gucci used another naked photo to encourage his fans to vote.
Jared captioned, “Happy hump day P.S. Don’t forget to vote.” “Yes, please,” and “I want to be in the shower with you,” were some of the responses, so we believe it’s safe to say he caught his followers’ attention.
J.K. Simmons, Matt Smith, Michael Keaton, Tyrese Gibson, Jared Harris, and Adria Arjona will play with Leto in the Marvel film ‘Morbius,’ which is based on a character from the “Spider-Man” comics. On Friday, January 28, 2022, the film will be released. The debut was originally scheduled for the summer of 2020, however it has been postponed multiple times owing to COVID-19.
It will be his second consecutive box office appearance, following his role as Paolo Gucci in Ridley Scott’s criminal drama “House of Gucci,” in which he co-stars with Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, and Al Pacino.
Leto has recently said that he has composed over 264 new songs during the epidemic. Thirty Seconds to Mars’ most recent studio album, America, was released in 2018 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
