Meghan Markle is all set to unveil Pearl to the rest of the world.

Archewell Productions, the company founded by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has announced a new project for Netflix.

Meghan Markle revealed that she would be collaborating with the streaming service on a new animated series.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix-based production company is branching into animation. Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, is the author of “Pearl,” a “family series that centers on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl, who is inspired by a variety of influential women from history.”

Along with David Furnish, Carolyn Soper, Liz Garbus, Dan Cogan, and Amanda Rynda, the Duchess will serve as executive producer.

Furnish is renowned for his work on films like “Rocketman,” which is based on the life of his husband Elton John.

In a statement, Markle said, “Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges.” “I’m thrilled that Archewell Productions, partnered with the powerhouse platform of Netflix, and these incredible producers, will together bring you this new animated series, which celebrates extraordinary women throughout history. David Furnish and I have been eager to bring this special series to light, and I am delighted we are able to announce it today.”

Meanwhile, David Furnish, her co-producer, said, “I am delighted that we are finally able to announce this exciting animated series. Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex and I are deeply passionate about bringing the inspirational and positive stories of extraordinary women from around the world to a global audience of all ages. The team collaborating on the series are first class, and Netflix are the perfect partner.’

Last year, Meghan Markle, 39, and Prince Harry, 36, inked a multiyear agreement with Netflix. Their production business will solely produce documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted programs, and children’s programming for Netflix.

Markle’s initiative comes after the publication of “The Bench” a children’s book, in June. The novel is based on a poem written just for Prince Harry.

“An exciting tale that weaves together fantasy and history, ‘Pearl’ focuses on a young girl who learns to step into her own power when she embarks on a heroic adventure and meets important women from history along the way. We’re excited to develop this animated series with our partners at Archewell Productions and Story Syndicate,” Megan Casey, Netflix’s director of original animation, stated.

In September, Netflix co-CEO Reed Hastings predicted that Meghan and Harry will produce “some of the most exciting, most viewed content next year,” on CNBC’s Squawk Box.

“Pearl” release date has yet to be determined.

Archewell is also working on a Netflix docuseries called “Heart of Invictus,” which chronicles the worldwide adaptive sports tournament that Prince Harry created. Director Orlando von Einsiedel and producer Joanna Natasegara are currently working on the project, which follows a group of international competitors, all of whom have suffered life-altering injuries or illnesses while training for the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, which will now take place in 2022.

“Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve,” Prince Harry said in a statement. “This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year.”

“Animation is the perfect medium to bring this fun, heartfelt and inspiring story to life,” Soper said of “Pearl.” “Pearl is a character in which everyone will recognize a piece of themselves while absolutely rooting for her as she discovers so much about the world, both past and present, and how she fits into it. I am thrilled to be working with Meghan and such an illustrious team.”

The Duchess has prior experience working on family-friendly programs, having narrated Elephant, a Disney+ documentary film about a group of elephants traveling from the Okavango Delta to the Zambezi River and back. It received mainly mixed reviews and was chastised for not being sufficiently scientific in scope.
