Finding Freedom, the biography of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has been updated to include key events in the couple’s life during the last year.

The ’emotional healing journey’ of losing a child via miscarriage and the birth of their daughter Lilibet will be detailed in a new version of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s biography.

The paperback edition’s epilogue will share “behind the scenes of Harry and Meghan’s ground-breaking interview with Oprah, details behind the couple’s move to California (and) the various philanthropic and business endeavors the Sussexes have been involved with since their move, and what’s to come with Archewell Productions,” according to publisher HarperCollins.

The first edition, written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, was released on August 11, 2020 and portrayed a positive image of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from their first meeting in 2016 through their retirement from the Firm in early 2020.

The revised edition, which will be released on August 31, will also feature information about their relocation to California, as well as their multi-million pound partnerships with Netflix and Spotify.

It will also discuss “the continuous challenges the couple face regarding privacy and the British press”

Finally, it will address the couple’s “heartbreak” at Prince Philip’s death in April at the age of 99.

The revised book will be available on August 31 — the day Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, was killed in a car accident in 1997.’

According to Omid Scobie, a writer close to Harry and Meghan, the pair “did not author the book and have never been interviewed for it”

Finding Freedom was considered to have been written with the couple’s friends’ help.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s long-awaited literary memoir, revealed last week, will be published in late 2022. Harry will reminisce on his childhood, his experience in the British military, and his choice to quit the royal family with Meghan in the unnamed “intimate and heartfelt” biography. “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” Harry said in a statement. “I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story—the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned—I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

Home life during the break-up of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ marriage, Diana’s death and aftermath, Harry’s relations with Camilla, and former girlfriends are all expected to be included in the book, which will be highly awaited by readers.

But, according to Robert Jobson, author of the best-selling ‘Prince Philip’s Century,’ Harry’s notebook is “bound to cause mayhem.”

He said: ‘If Harry, which seems inevitable, goes into detail about mental health issues involving his wife and alleged racism at the heart of the royal family, it will be hugely damaging to the House of Windsor and the monarchy as an institution.

‘Harry is already hugely rich and famous so apart from damaging his family – which a book like this will inevitably do – I am not sure what he is trying to achieve. Whatever he says will lead to conflict.’

The pair made a number of stunning claims regarding Meghan’s time in the Royal Family and their decision to leave during their interview with Oprah, which aired in March.

Meghan and Harry detailed their brief time as a working royal couple, saying that a member of the family – not the Queen or Prince Philip – made a racial remark about their kid, and that the duchess had suicidal thoughts but was denied help by the monarchy.

Shortly after the memoir was announced, the Daily Mail released a report suggesting that Prince Harry’s publication contract is for four books, one of which would not be published until after Queen Elizabeth’s death. A representative for the Sussexes refuted the claim, stating that Harry is only working on one book.

The Duchess of Sussex boldly revealed in November that she had miscarried in the summer of 2020.

Meghan said in the New York Times, “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second”.
