Meghan Markle ‘fearful of losing Duchess title’ after Harry’s attacks

Despite the fact that she stepped down as a senior royal last year, Meghan Markle is thought to be adamant on keeping her title as Duchess of Sussex.

According to a source close to Meghan, losing the title she received after marrying Prince Harry in 2018 would be a ‘PR disaster.’

The source told Heat magazine that Meghan is concerned that her husband’s previous remarks regarding the Royal Family have led demands for the couple to be stripped of their titles.

“She’s told Harry that they need to tone down the attacks on the Royal Family – she’s afraid they’ll take away their royal titles, which would be a PR disaster,” they claimed.

“Right now, she’s inundated with offers, and that’s in part to being a Duchess.”

Meghan and Harry have lost the rights to use their HRH titles in public since leaving royal life and the UK, but they are still recognized as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan refers to identify as The Duchess of Sussex on all platforms, and she recently published the children’s book The Bench under that title.

It comes after Harry dropped many “truth bombs” about his family in the shocking Oprah Winfrey documentary The Me You Can’t See.

It comes as a petition has been started “inviting” Prince Harry to relinquish his royal titles willingly.

Lady Colin Campbell, author of Meghan and Harry: The Real Story and other books, started the online petition, asking the Duke to “voluntarily ask The Queen to put his royal style, titles and rank into abeyance”

The petition has received over 57,000 signatures.

Meghan characterized herself as “lost” at the palace and said she got so depressed that she considered suicide.

As he discussed how his experience in ‘The Firm’ had harmed his mental health, Harry made several allegations about his close family members.

The Duke of Sussex, who is expecting a girl with Meghan, also criticized the way Prince Charles raised him, noting the “genetic pain and suffering” in the royal family and emphasizing his desire to “break the cycle” for his children.

He said: “My father used to say to me when I was younger, he used to say to both William and I, ‘Well it was like that for me so it’s going to be like that for you.

“That doesn’t make sense.

“Just because you suffered doesn’t mean that your kids have to suffer, in fact quite the opposite – if you suffered, do everything you can to make sure that whatever negative experiences you had, that you can make it right for your kids.”

Honestly if they are true to everything they r saying, they must volunteer to return title and never use it. If they have spine to say such lies( which can be proven by people and pictures to be lies) then they really must have spine to relinquish titles. They will be respected.
