According to a royal biographer, Prince Harry and Meghan have already licensed their daughter’s name Lilibet Diana and registered a domain name.

Ms Levin revealed this on ITV’s Good Morning Britain while debating whether the royal couple will set up a charity in Lili’s name, as they had with Archie Harrison.

The URL LilibetDiana.com was registered with GoDaddy on Friday, June 4 – three days before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced the birth of Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

The domain’s owners are unknown since it was acquired via an intermediary in Scottsdale, Arizona, whose slogan is: ‘Your identity is nobody’s business but ours’.

However, royal experts believe it is the work of the Sussexes because it was registered before the public knew the child had been born or named Lilibet Diana by her parents.

Today on Good Morning Britain, host Susanna Reid was interviewing journalist Afua Adom about the couple’s need for privacy for their children.

She said: ” One thing that they’re very private about is the privacy of their children and we barely see Archie and yet they named their foundation after Archie – so the Archewell Foundation, which is very very public. Can you imagine a situation in which they set up another charitable organisation and call it the Lilibet Foundation?”

Angela cut in before Afua could respond, saying, “They’ve got a domain, I think, yesterday. They’ve made a domain name – Lilibet Diana, they did that yesterday.”

“Right, so that makes me feel a little bit uncomfortable,” Susanna acknowledged.

“Nobody can use that email and nobody can use that name for any kind of commercial work they want to do,” Angela explained.

“So they’ve already licenced it?” Susanna’s co-host Richard Madeley said.

“They’ve licenced it, yes,” Angela said.

The press secretary for the Sussexes announced the baby’s name as Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

“Both mother and child are healthy and well, and are settling in at home,” she said.

“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet.”

“Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honour her beloved late grandmother, the Princess of Wales.”

Meghan and Harry already own the domain archewell.com, via which they will announce the birth of their baby daughter on Sunday.

They wrote:

“On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.

“She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe.

“Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
