Following Meghan Markle’s assertion that Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton made her cry before her wedding to Prince Harry, palace personnel remained silent and did not respond to the accusation. Royal experts are also weighing in, believing Kate Middleton “rose above” the claims made by the Sussexes in their Oprah Winfrey interview. The  Sussexes revealed some shocking admissions about the royal family and life as senior royals in the bombshell interview.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex claimed that the future Queen consort failed to support her when she entered the royal family, among other alarming allegations. Their remarks followed widespread media speculation around the time of the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding that Meghan, 39, had made Kate cry over Princess Charlotte’s flower girl attire.

She said that “the reverse happened” and that Kate apologized to her.

According to reports, Kate attempted to make amends with Meghan by bringing her flowers as an apology, but her olive branch was rebuffed.

The Daily Mail said Meg tossed the flowers in the trash, while The Times said she slammed the door in Kate’s face.

However, the pair, who moved to California last year to live a “private” life, denied this during their tell-all interview, in which they also accused the Royal Family of racism.

According to the Mirror, Royal analyst Camilla Tominey says Kate is “putting her best foot forward” in her efforts to unify the squabbling siblings.

Just weeks after making the contentious remarks, Harry was reunited with his family during Prince Philip’s funeral, where Kate was the first member of the family to be seen conversing with him. Meghan, who was heavily pregnant at the time, was unable to attend due to medical advice.

Writing for Stella magazine, Royal expert Camilla Tominey said: “Despite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Oprah Winfrey interview, when Kate was accused of making Meghan cry during a bridesmaid’ s dress fitting and failing to support her, Kate rose decidedly above it all.

“Setting aside any personal resentment she may still feel about Harry and Meghan’s televised two-hour tell-all, Kate put her best foot forward in trying to carve a path to reconciliation between the brothers.

“Few would have blamed her for giving Harry the cold shoulder, yet she clearly resolved that the situation needed to be appeased rather than aggravated.”

Previously, royal expert Christopher Wilson told the magazine that Kate’s choice to converse with Prince Harry during Prince Philip’s funeral was spontaneous, and that it prompted the two brothers to break the tension and communicate. “I thought it was entirely spontaneous and clever in making the two brothers talk to each other. It was a deft move that shows the Duchess is not overawed by all that’s going on.”

“If you didn’t know, Kate has always been extremely close to Prince Harry; The Duke once even described her as the sister he never had.

They collaborated on a number of cooperative activities before launching their mental health organization, Heads Together.

Harry spent a lot of time in the Cambridges’ apartment when he was residing at Kensington Palace, and Kate would frequently prepare him dinner.

She was apparently always available to give him advise, particularly on matters of love and romance.

It comes after the Duchess had her first dose of coronavirus vaccination yesterday.

“Yesterday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at London’s Science Museum,” she wrote in an official tweet.

“I’m hugely grateful to everyone who is playing a part in the rollout – thank you for everything you are doing.”

She received the necessary vaccination from NHS workers after the vaccine distribution was expanded to anyone over the age of 30.
