The palace seems to be enjoying the absence of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. According to the Mirror, life at the palace is “much calmer” after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit in 2020.

The pair, according to The Mirror, didn’t understand how things worked and would whine anytime things didn’t go their way.

“One of the main issues with Harry and Meghan when they were part of the working family was their inability to understand how things worked,” an insider said.

“It’s been a lot simpler without them kicking off over why they couldn’t just do what they wanted.

In March, Meghan and Harry sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a shocking interview that shook the Royal Family to its core.

This, along with the Queen’s dismissal of Prince Andrew over his involvement with Jeffery Epstein, left The Firm without three active royals, with Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex stepping in to assist.

The spicy sit-down that makes Diana’s Squidgygate and Fergie’s pedicure-by-mouth scandals look mild in contrast. Harry and Meghan dropped bombshell after bombshell disclosure, including the fact that Harry had been cut off financially after leaving The Firm, and that there were concerns about Archie’s skin tone before his birth.

Following Prince Philip’s death, Harry returned to London to meet his family for the first time since the interview, but Meghan, who is pregnant, stayed in California.

However, it was reported that Meghan chose not to attend the burial because she did not want to be the center of attention.

The palace made a few non-inflammatory remarks and told the public that “Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members.” Of course, Queen Elizabeth managed to snub the couple’s charges by adding that “some recollections may vary.”

As a show of support for the Queen, the family has organized a meeting to discuss the monarchy’s future business and to develop custom positions for each of The Firm’s seven senior members.

The Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Anne, and Earl and Countess of Wessex will collaborate and support one another.

Despite the reduced workforce, a source says things are “calmer” now that Meghan and Harry are gone.

The palace has vowed to look into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s allegations, but in the meanwhile, their silence speaks volumes. While Prince Charles has laughed off probing questions, Prince William’s one-liner, “We are very much not a racist family,” appears to be the strongest reaction the British royals were ready to provide.

“One of the main issues with Harry and Meghan when they were part of the working family was their inability to understand how things worked,” the insider said, implying that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were confused by their responsibilities. “It’s been a lot simpler without them kicking off over why they couldn’t just do what they wanted,” they continued.  At the very least, it appears that Harry and Meghan’s remarks were grating on some people’s nerves. “Things are a lot calmer,” they added.
