Sophie Turner is a very protective mother.

The “Game of Thrones” star posted an Instagram story criticizing photographers for capturing her 10-month-old daughter Willa.

Not only did they take the shot without Sophie’s permission, but the photograph had already been sold and published by the time Sophie knew about it.

She opened her video message by saying, “I just woke up. I guess yesterday some paparazzi managed to get a picture of my daughter and I just want to say that the reason that I am not posting pictures of my daughter and making sure that we can avoid paparazzi at all costs is because I explicitly do not want those photos out there.

Turner said, “She is my daughter. She did not ask for this life, to be photographed. It’s f***ing creepy that grown old men taking pictures of a baby without their permission. I’m sickened, I’m disgusted and I’m respectfully asking everyone to stop following us around and stop trying to take pictures of our daughter and especially printing them.

“It’s disgusting and you do not have my permission,” she concluded.

Page Six had previously published the photographs in question on Wednesday (12 May), but the original story appears to have been removed. Turner avoided naming the news organization by name.

Turner and Jonas have been silent since news of her first child surfaced in February 2020, without even confirming the pregnancy themselves. When Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ baby was born in July, the couple’s representatives kept the information to a bare minimum, telling E! News at the time, “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby.”

The couple hasn’t released any images of their kid since then, and they’ve just lately shared throwback photos of Turner while she was pregnant.

Turner told the Times of London in 2017, a year into the couple’s relationship, that she and Jonas were in a “very private relationship.”

Being at home with Turner and their kid has “been amazing,” Jonas told CBS This Morning in May.

“It’s been forced time at home—I’m always on the go,” he said. “I’m always moving and traveling and touring. To be in one place for a solid amount of time and having my feet on the ground and be with my family, my immediate family, is time I don’t think I’ll get back. I’m so thankful and grateful.”

Joe paid tribute to Turner on her first Mother’s Day with a beautiful Instagram message, sharing images of her with his own mother, Denise Jonas. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mother’s out there,” he wrote, “and to these two Mums.”
