Palace advisors have recently stated their wish for Meghan and Harry’s royal titles to be revoked.
During the latest episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, the Duke of Sussex decided to criticize Prince Charles’ parenting capabilities and upbringing, according to the Express.
According to the Mail on Sunday, a royal source said: “They should put the titles into abeyance, so they still exist, but are not used, like they agreed to do with their HRHs.
“They should just become Harry and Meghan. And if they refuse to do that, they have to explain why not.”
They are particularly enraged by Harry’s ‘shocking’ criticism of Prince Charles’ parenting abilities, as well as the Queen’s and the late Prince Philip’s.
One aide said, ‘People are appalled that he could do this to the Queen when the Duke of Edinburgh is barely in his grave. To drag his grandfather into this is so shocking and disrespectful .’
‘The Duke of Sussex has now spent a significant amount of time emphasising that he’s no different to anyone else and attacking the institution which he says has caused him so much pain. There is a growing feeling that if you dislike the institution that much, you shouldn’t have the titles.’
In an explosive interview this week, Prince Harry slammed his royal upbringing, describing it as “a mixture between The Truman Show and being in a zoo”
On the Armchair Expert Podcast, Harry took aim at his father, Prince Charles, saying he needed to “break the cycle” of “suffering” for his own children.
“When it comes to parenting, if I’ve experienced some form of pain or suffering because of the pain or suffering that perhaps my father or my parents had suffered, I’m going to make sure I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on,” he told host and actor Dax Shepard.
He mentioned a “genetic pain” that had been passed on in the family. However, royal aides believe Harry and Meghan should now be required to give up their titles.
Although it is known that there are no official plans to strip the pair of their titles, the pressure to do so shows how strong the feeling of betrayal has been in the Palace.
As a result of his recent outburst, tensions are expected to be heavy when Harry returns to the United Kingdom on July 1 to unveil a new statue of his mother, Princess Diana.
Harry’s ‘woeful lack of compassion’ in an expletive-filled 90-minute chat perplexed senior Royals.
Many Twitter users seemed to agree with these palace aides, with one tweeting: “Great idea. Just take them away Ma’am.”
Another person stated: “Titles should be returned or stripped! Disrespecting your family is bad enough. Disrespecting the Royal Family is showing contempt for the nation.”
Another person added: “Strip them of their titles and the path to succession. Do it sooner rather than later.”
Piers Morgan advised the Queen to ‘cut loose’ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Piers Morgan, the former host of Good Morning Britain, says that he advised Queen Elizabeth II to drop Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal titles.
The TV host chastised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for continuing to use their royal titles after their separation from the royal family.
Following Megxit, the pair came under fire for striking multi-million dollar deals with Spotify and Netflix, prompting allegations that they were abusing their royal titles.
“They want their royal cake and eat it, Meghan and Harry. They’re the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when it comes to negotiating $100million deals with Netflix but what they don’t want to do as part of having the royal titles is go back to England and put a shift in,” he said.
“They don’t want that stuff. They want to be in their $11million mansion lecturing the world about equality which in itself is laughable.
“But also more damaging is they want to preach about politics by taking a stand against Trump and so on. You can’t do that and be royal members, it’s damaging to the impartiality to the monarchy.
“As I said to the Queen that she should cut them loose, cut the titles and I think that has to be done now because if they want freedom and independence as they say they do, fine.
“You can’t be Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Take the titles away, see how you get on as Meghan and Harry.”
Other social media users, on the other hand, defended Meghan and Harry, writing, “Prince Harry should retain his title as it was granted hereditarily & so, is beyond whatever public sentiment du jour is.”
Another Twitter user defended Prince Harry. “Did you listen to the same podcast as I did? Royal Aides have no reverence to this subject.”

They went on and on about moving to be out of the focus of the press. So they move to Hollywood and buy a mansion among the stars. They have not missed a chance to use the press they wanted to avoid to spread their fictional account of time spent in UK. To me it looks like they wanted royal income, trappings and notoriety but didn’t want to participate in their duties. (Kind of a form of welfare. Get paid to do nothing)
As far as the boys upbringing – what a bunch of crap. The two were brought up together and one is mature, raising a family and happily married. He is also educated and was never caught with his pants down (figuratively or literally) While in London I saw on a couple occasions Prince Phillip on outings with the boys. The Queen and Phillip kept the boys at Balmoral to protect them the news broadcasts of their mother. That sounds like a good family to me.
Harry and Megan have left out one thing from this never ending bitch session. When you throw a tantrum because you didn’t get what you wanted you should be on the floor kicking and screaming.
The Queen and Prince Charles need to take note of the actions of them and boot their asses out of all titles and privileged connected with the Crown. They have been treated to an endless stream of lies and insults that they don’t deserve all so H&M can stay in the tabloids. They wanted out of royal duties so take the titles and all privileges away. It would be nice to keep Meghan out of the country. Any time there will only be fodder for Megan to create more stories with no facts. Harry’s actions at his grandfathers funeral and skipping his grandmothers birthday shows he has no respect for family or country. Get a big eraser and eliminate those two from the history books.

Oh dear Harry! Why don’t you just walk away like a man, go live your life your way on your own 2 feet instead of trying to load your inadequacies on others. Do us all a favour. Your reported comments during interviews is an insult to your mum’s memory & the family who did care & look after you & to yr grandfather’s memory.
How low can you go!!
