Meghan Markle’s father “extremely hurt” by Prince Harry saying the Royals are like “the family she never had”, according to reports.

Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister has retaliated against Prince Harry for referring to the royal family as the family Meghan “never had.”

Thomas Markle, 73, who is reported to have “dedicated all his time” to Meghan and offered her “what she needed to be successful”, has yet to meet her fiance.

According to Thomas: “He dedicated the majority of all his time and everything to her. He made sure she had what she needed to be successful and get to where she’s at today.”

“She has a large family,” Samantha responded on Twitter. “She always did. Our dad is amazing and completely self sacrificing. We made it so that she had two houses. How fun it was!”

Samantha previously gushed over her younger sibling’s marriage to Prince Harry, saying in November on Good Morning Britain that their relationship was “not about royalty.”

She said, “When I watch her with him it’s very real and normal,” she said. “You know, we only get that once in a lifetime if we’re lucky. It’s not about royalty so much as it is about love. And that’s wonderful for them.”
