Early this summer, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will welcome their second child. The royal couple is expecting a baby sister for Archie, their two-year-old son.

Meghan discussed her daughter’s impending arrival at “Global Citizen’s Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World,” and it’s evident she has great expectations for her baby. According to Us Weekly, she remarked during a virtual address, “When we think of her, we think of all the young women and girls around the globe who must be given the ability and support to lead us forward.  Their future leadership depends on the decisions we make and the actions we take now to set them up and to set all of us up for a successful, equitable, and compassionate tomorrow.”

Meghan and Harry celebrated Mother’s Day ‘low-key’ in the United States on Sunday, according to a source.

The insider told Us Weekly: “As she nears the end of her pregnancy, she’s taking it easy.

“Harry’s extremely protective and doesn’t want her overdoing it.”

In the meanwhile, royal biographer Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Weekly that Diana might be a top contender for a middle name, in honor of the Duke of Sussex’s late mother Princess Diana.

“What we know about this couple is that they do put a lot of time and thought into names.

“I’m sure they have probably got a very good idea of what they’re going to call their little girl.

“I think many people are expecting that Diana is going to be one of her names.

“I absolutely think they will want to include Diana as perhaps one of the names for their little girl.

“Maybe not as her first name, but I’m sure it’s very high up on the list in terms of a second Christian name.

“And I think that’s quite simply because it would be for Harry a wonderful way to pay tribute to his mother.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton gave their daughter Charlotte the middle name Diana in a similar fashion.

“I don’t think that precludes Harry and Meghan from doing exactly the same thing.

“I think it’s very likely to be chosen as a middle name.”

Archie, the couple’s two-year-old son, turned two earlier this month.

“While Harry and Meghan are raising Archie to be grounded, they go the extra mile on his birthday,” a source previously told the tabloid.

“They made [his] card themselves and wrote a sweet poem inside, splashed out on gifts — including outdoor toys — and have bought him the cutest birthday outfit!”

A royal expert feels Meghan and Harry’s new arrival will be crucial for the royal family as she approaches her due date.
