The queen, who is 95 years old, was advised to order her attorneys to contact the publishers of Meghan’s 40-page children’s book to request that the former working royal’s title be removed. Meghan, 39, revealed this week that she had published a book in honor of Archie’s second birthday, which is coming up on Thursday. The author’s name is stated on the front cover as “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex” which enraged some royal fans since she is no longer a working member of the Royal Family.
The Bench, which discusses the relationship between a father and his young son, was the subject of a poll commissioned by Express UK, which asked readers if Prince Harry’s wife should be allowed to use her royal title to sell her book.
Meghan should not be allowed to get the title written on the book, according to 98% of respondents (27,228).
Just 2% (478 participants) said no, and only 60 people (less than 1%) said they didn’t know.
Meghan Markle’s usage of the term Duchess of Sussex in her latest book is “laughable” according to a royal expert, since she decided to break links with the royal family.
The usage of every title in this way, according to royal author Angela Levin, is “ridiculous”
The fact that she wishes to keep her royal title and the book is published by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is laughable, according to the Prince Harry biographer.
“Because they wanted to get away from the Royal Family, they hated the Royal Family – they felt trapped.
“They didn’t like it, they wanted freedom and they’ve got freedom. You can’t have everything you want like that.”
Most people with a royal title, according to the writers, will not use it while signing off on a novel.
“You don’t use your royal position to make commercial gain,” she said.
“Not many people sign a book with their titles, it’s just ridiculous.
“They write their name and people should know who they are – they don’t add ‘Duchess of this and that’ after it.”
Express UK readers expressed their displeasure at having to see the former princess benefit from the label the Queen bestowed on her when she married Harry, 36, in the comments section.
“She shouldn’t be able to use her title for anything, time it was removed.”
“You want to be free of the Royal Family? Drop your royal title, simple.”
“About time Liz got firm on this – remove their titles NOW!”
“The Royal Family are coming across as weak to me. Show some power as they are making them look foolish now.”
“Buckingham Palace lawyers should contact the publishers and ask them to remove Duchess from the title.”
According to a royal author, Meghan Markle is “using her new book to show how ‘upset’ Harry was to be stripped of his military titles.”
Meghan is using the book to highlight how sad Harry is to lose his military titles, according to Phil Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan In Their Own Words.
“The illustration of a red-haired soldier (obviously you know who) hugging his little boy, looks as though he has come home from war after many years and pulls at the heart-strings,” he clarified.
“Mum is in tears as she looks through the window, and sees her husband returning from battle to pick up family life once more.
“It’s a scenario familiar to so many military couples separated by conflicts.
“But of course it wasn’t a reality for Harry, who was in a different relationship when he served in Afghanistan.
“Rather Meghan is probably showing how much the Army meant to Harry and how upset he is to lose his military titles.
“The Queen decided he could not be half in and half out of the Royal Family, and therefore he could no longer continue with his honorary associations, including being Captain General of the Royal Marines.
“For Harry, who put his life on the line and then founded the highly successful Invictus Games for injured servicemen and women, losing the titles was the bitterest part of ‘Megxit.’”

The problem is that if the Sussex title is removed the former Meaghan Markle will revert to the title of Princess Henry ( Harry ). Prince Harry is a prince by birth and will ever be so and his wife, automatically, will be Princess Harry by virtue of being married to Prince Harry.
I don’t believe that that title can be removed by Her Majesty the Queen or by her Parliament. Princess Meaghan would be even more insufferable as a Princess.
