Prince Harry has been “blinded by Meghan and Hollywood”, according to Diana’s former butler, and his mother would “disapprove of him tearing down the royals”.

In his new Apple series The Me You Can’t See, Harry discussed his mental health and attacked his father, Prince Charles.

The former royal assistant said that the Duke of Sussex’s recent admissions in his new Apple series and The Armchair Podcast were self-destructive.

Paul Burrell is concerned that the Duke’s willingness to voice concerns with his family in public would only serve to harm him.

Burrell’s remarks come after another bombshell interview with his wife Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey, in which he slammed the Royal Family.

He also claimed that as a youngster, his father, Prince Charles, made him’suffer,’ and that he would not be ‘bullied’ into silence.

‘He’s been blinded by Meghan, by her beauty and by this Hollywood world,’ former Butler Burrell said of Harry’s most recent appearance.

‘I think now it could only be Meghan who can stop him from doing these interviews and doing any more damage, and destroying himself.

‘He won’t heal if he keeps doing this – it’ll make things worse in the long run. I honestly have no idea when he’ll stop.’

He also expressed his worry that the royal family may be “left broken” unless Meghan intervenes to prevent him from giving such intimate interviews.

Harry talks of losing his mother Diana when he was just 12-years-old in the new show, and how he was outraged that the world grieved her when they hadn’t even met her.

At his mother’s funeral, Harry and his brother Prince William, as well as other members of the Royal Family, walked behind her coffin.

Harry clarified: “(I was) showing one tenth of the emotion that everybody else was showing: This was my mum – you never even met her.

“I was so angry with what happened to her and that there was no justice, at all. Nothing came from that.”

He told Closer Magazine that he believes Diana, Princess of Wales, would be ‘heartbroken’ if she were to see Harry and Meghan’s public approach to their life.

‘Diana would be heartbroken it’s come to this,’ said Burrell, who now lives in Cheshire after a stint in the US. ‘Not only would she be devastated that Harry is cut off from his family, but she’d disapprove of him tearing down the royals.’

‘She’d want him to stop airing his dirty laundry, and to live a quiet, private life, focused on his children.’

Charles was singled out by his youngest son, Harry, who claimed that his father did nothing to support him through his difficulties.

“My father used to say to me when I was younger, he used to say to both William and I, ‘Well, it was like that for me, so it’s going to be like that for you’,” he explained.

“There’s no doubt it’s a great idea for Harry to have help and therapy,” Mr Burell remarked in an interview with Closer magazine.

“But therapy is supposed to be confidential – it doesn’t work on the world stage. Doing what he’s doing is only going to cause him so much more pain.

“I don’t recognise him now – he’s almost become the centre of his own world. He’s hurting his family and saying things that I really think he’ll regret.

“Meghan has encouraged him to get therapy and change his way of thinking – but I think he’ll be left broken when this all stops and he realises what he’s done.”
