A President Dwayne Johnson isn’t completely out of the question.

The Rock has replied to a study that says almost half of Americans would be interested in seeing him run for president, calling the numbers “humbling.”

According to a recent survey, 46 percent of US people would support Dwayne Johnson running for president. Johnson previously teased fans with a possible 2020 candidacy.

The 48-year-old rushed to Instagram on Saturday to upload a screenshot of an article claiming that “At least 46 percent of Americans would support a presidential run from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson,” citing a recent survey.

“Humbling,” Johnson wrote. “I don’t think our Founding Fathers EVER envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club – but if it ever happens it’d be my honour to serve you, the people.”

Some other celebrities, such as rapper Big Sean and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, chimed in with their support in the comments section.

The survey, conducted by market cube platform Piplsay, polled 30,138 people on which celebrities they would want to see as president, with Johnson polling well as a potential White House contender.

According to the poll, 29 percent of people would vote for Johnson for president and Matthew McConaughey for governor of Texas. Another 17% would only vote for Johnson if he ran for president.

After Johnson’s name was placed with Matthew McConaughey, who is “seriously considering running for Texas governor in the upcoming 2022 election,” WWE Champion Bobby Lashley allegedly indicated that he would back The Rock in the presidential race.

Johnson has previously shown interest in running for president, telling Ellen DeGeneres in 2017 that he was “seriously” contemplating a political career.

Johnson told GQ in the same year that a run for politics was “a real possibility” after the Washington Post published an op-ed piece supporting him as a potential contender.

“I would consider a presidential run in the future if that’s what the people wanted,” he told USA Today. “Truly I mean that, and I’m not flippant in any way with my answer. That would be up to the people … So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground.”
