You’ve probably heard of the tattoo actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas has on her wrist in tribute of her father. Following the death of her father Ashok Chopra in 2013, Priyanka received the tattoo ‘Daddy’s lil girl…’ It’s likely, though, that you haven’t noticed a little box and check (tick mark) tattooed behind Priyanka’s ears. Nick Jonas, her spouse, has identical tattoos on both arms, with a box on one and a check mark on the other.

Since their wedding, Chopra and Nick have been dishing out relationship goals. The power couple said “I Do” and began their happily married life after a whirlwind courtship.

The multi-day event was held in Jodhpur, India, from November 29 to December 3, 2018. Multiple locations, various venues, a star-studded guest list, and countless dress changes were all part of the festivities.

The meaning and poignant reason behind the couple’s tattoos has been disclosed by the actor. Nick informed Priyanka after their engagement that she had ticked all of his boxes. On the first anniversary of their engagement, the two received these unique tattoos to commemorate the fact that in Priyanka, Nick found all of the attributes he was searching for in a relationship.

“When we got engaged, Nick told me I checked all his boxes. So on the one-year anniversary of our engagement, we got matching tattoos to celebrate that: mine behind my ears, his on his arm – it’s a check on one side and a box on the other.”

In July 2018, the couple announced their engagement. Jonas and his bride-to-be rounded up their celebrations with a trip to London, England. They visited Tiffany & Co., where Chopra Jonas selected an engagement ring. On Instagram, Jonas later announced the engagement. Only a few months after they began dating, they were asked to marry.

“I didn’t expect the proposal at that point … It was two months!” she told Elle UK. “I thought it would happen, but it was still a complete shock. [But] I relinquished control and I just went with it.”

She went on to state that they’d been messaging and “sporadically meeting” for about two years. She’d been “taking a hiatus from guys” at the time.

Chopra Jonas stated, “I didn’t want anyone romantically. But there’s always been something about Nick, which is why we always ended up staying in touch, no matter where we were.”

Elle magazine’s March 2021 issue will feature her on the cover. On her Instagram account, the star has posted numerous photos from the session in which she looks lovely. Fans are enthralled by her new look, which differs from her previous one, and are enthralled by their favorite actress’s new photograph.

Nick Jonas recently told E! News that he wants to start a family someday. His ultimate focus, though, is PeeCee’s happiness. “You know, whatever is right. We’re blessed to have each other and have a full heart for the future, I say, and things are out of your control. And the foundation of a couple is strong, and you’re excited about the possibility of that,” he told the outlet.

The couple, who have been married for two years, still follow a rule they established when they first married.

Chopra Jonas remarked, “We see each other every three weeks. Wherever we are in the world, we fly to each other at least once a month for a couple of days. It was our rule when we first got married. Otherwise, we’d never see each other.”

It’s not an easy task. Their schedules must be coordinated by their teams. It’s come to the point where they can’t handle it anymore. Chopra Jonas described it as a “big marriage.” “It’s not just us but our families and teams, too.”
