Megan Fox has slammed ex-husband Brian Austin Green for sharing an Instagram photo of their 4-year-old child, accusing him of “feeding a pervasive narrative” that she is “an absent mother.”

Green posted a photo of himself and the couple’s youngest son Journey dressed up for Halloween over the weekend, captioning it, “Hope you all had a good Halloween!”

But Fox was irritated that their child was included in the photograph.

“Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It’s not hard to crop them out,” she commented. “I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media.”

“I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram. You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year,” she continued.

“You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?”

Green has subsequently removed the photo and replaced it with a cropped version that excludes the 4-year-old.

Fox and Green share three sons, Journey, four, Bodhi, six, and Noah, eight. Green also has an 18-year-old son named Kassius with his ex-wife Vanessa Marcil.

Fox and Green first met in 2004, and they married in 2010. They resumed their love in 2016 after splitting in 2015. The couple divorced for the second time early this year.

Green revealed on his podcast in May that he and Fox had split up.

‘I wanted everyone to hear everything from me, and this is it,’ he said. ‘Neither one of us did anything to each other. She’s always been honest with me. I’ve always been honest with her. We’ve had an amazing relationship.’

Of course, Fox has since moved on to date Machine Gun Kelly, whom she refers to as her “twin flame.”

“Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time,” Fox explained in a July interview. “So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”

This isn’t the first time they’ve taken to social media to express their frustrations.

Green appeared to insult Fox’s Instagram tribute to her new lover Machine Gun Kelly in August.

The actress captioned a black-and-white image with the rapper, whose actual name is Colson Baker, “Achingly Beautiful Boy… My heart is yours.”

Green appeared to ridicule his ex’s homage by tweeting a photo of his 18-year-old son Kassius, as well as Noah, 8, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 4, whom he shares with Fox. “Achingly beautiful boys…… My heart is yours,” he captioned the images, referencing the actress’ Instagram post.
