Following Cardi B’s acting debut in “Hustlers,” Kim Kardashian is the next celebrity to get her chance to shine in a Jennifer Lopez film. The E! reality star has confirmed that she will appear in a film alongside the “World of Dance” judge.

Kardashian West disclosed the information to E! News anchor Jason Kennedy in a brief video clip uploaded on Instagram.

Kennedy asked the cosmetics mogul, “So Kim, you’re working on something with J.Lo?,” to which Kardashian replied, “I am. My first big acting gig with Jennifer Lopez.” The mom-of-four was then asked if she knew all of her lines yet. She replied, “I do. I’m so excited!”

Kardashian West has acted in films such Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, Ocean’s Eight, and Disaster Movie.

Lopez has long been a fan of SKIMS’ founder. The Grammy Award winner attended a movie night at Kardashian’s house in December of last year, prompting Kim to post on Instagram about how big of an effect J.Lo has had on her life (and career). “My inspiration for everything has been Jennifer Lopez,” she said at the time. “I would try and see what shoes she’d wear, what makeup, what hair – I became obsessed with glam because of Jennifer.”

Kim hasn’t revealed the title of the film in which she will make her big screen debut, although some have suggested that it will be called “Marry Me.” J.Lo has been filming the romantic comedy since earlier this month.

In the meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez published an Instagram photo of her new outfit from her current movie, as well as the name of the character she plays in it: Kat Valdez.

The Kat Coiro-directed film follows a pop queen (J.Lo) who, seconds before marrying her rock-star husband at Madison Square Garden, discovers that he was cheating on her with her secretary and suddenly melts down onstage, marrying a random math teacher (Owen Wilson) from the audience instead.
