Drake’s affection for Rihanna is no longer a secret!

On August 6, Drake performed at Madison Square Garden with rapper Future (full name Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn) and professed his love for Rihanna. In May, there were rumors that the two were dating again. The couple was originally linked in 2009, when they were said to be dating.

Drizzy told the audience, “If you’ve got love for Rihanna in New York City… ‘cuz you know I’ve got love for Rihanna,” before diving into some of his classics, according to Page Six. He flirted with the female concertgoers later that night, telling them, “Where’s all my New York women tonight at, cuz I’ve got a night off after this.”

Despite the fact that Rihanna and Drake have been reported dating for a long time, according to E! Online’s sources, the two musicians have resisted placing a label on their relationship. Despite this, insiders claim that Drake and Rihanna are truly devoted to one another.

“Rihanna and Drake are hanging out a bit more lately. Rihanna loves Drake, but is still not ready to put a title on them,” the source said.

Because she isn’t ready to settle down yet, the “S&M” singer repeatedly puts the brakes on their romance.  “Drake would make her his girlfriend in a second if he could. It’s more on Rihanna, though. They both care about each other and are having a good time spending time with each other,” the insider added. “Drake has expressed to Rihanna that he only wants to date her and only her, but she wants to take day by day this time around.”

“Things are great, though,” the insider said, “and their connection is really strong. Things are progressing nicely.”

Drake has been on the road for his “Summer Sixteen” tour, which he is co-headlining with Future, a buddy and longtime collaborator. RiRi has been busy with her own “Anti” tour, but she took time out last week to pay a visit to her alleged boyfriend in his birthplace of Toronto, Canada, to perform at his annual OVO Festival.

The Diamonds hitmaker made an appearance on both days of the two-day event, singing songs she wrote with Drake, such as Work and Too Good, as well as her own hit hits.

Drake told the crowd at his OVO Fest in Toronto a few days before revealing his feelings for the singer, “We might have to go half on a baby!” The 28-year-old singer was on stage alongside the rapper, and she did not reject the idea.

But, in addition to informing the crowd that he adores Rihanna, Drake had another surprise in store for them. During his act, the rapper brought out Rose, a former Chicago Bulls great who joined with the Knicks during the free agency period this off-season.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Drake remarked, “I was able to make one phone call so I’m gonna stay onstage tonight, but there’s one guy that you gotta thank for that. I just wanna know if New York City could just make some noise for him one time, because I feel like this is the guy that you need to thank for me standing on stage tonight.”

“He goes by the name of Derrick Rose, by the way, just in case you didn’t know,” he continued.
