Chris Brown can’t seem to get a break, can he? His musical career is halted for all of two minutes by a domestic abuse complaint, and now the media is questioning his judgment in bad-taste Halloween costumes.

On Wednesday (Oct. 31), the R&B singer shared a selfie on Instagram of himself costumed as a terrorist, complete with a turban and an artificial beard, bullet casings wrapped around his robe, and an assault weapon held above his head. Breezy was joined by four identically clad companions as he posed in front of a silver car.

Brown captioned the logic-defying photo, “Ain’t nobody F—king wit my clique!!!!#ohb,” Brown eloquently captioned the logic-defying photo. While the world uttered its collective “WTF.” Brown’s mother tweeted in defense of her son’s potentially (but not necessarily) offensive costume, noting, “HALLOWEEN IS FOR FUN NOTHING MORE THAN JUST FUN. GET A LIFE PLEASE.”

ABC News called the costume — per an Instagram photo tweeted by Brown — “questionable.” Perez Hilton dubbed it “horrifically offensive,” and made that point extremely clear by labeling the piece “icky poo poo.” Buzzfeed called it a “pretty terrible idea any way you look at it.”

Brown was reportedly attending a Halloween party held by on-again, off-again sweetheart Rihanna at Hollywood hotspot Greystone.

It was recently claimed that the ex-couple is back together after they were seen embracing and kissing in Los Angeles.

Brown revealed a controversial neck tattoo in September that resembled a wounded Rihanna after she was battered by him in 2009. According to the singer’s rep, the tattoo was of a sugar skull, which is linked with the Mexican holiday of Day of the Dead.

He is also alleged to have gone to a Halloween party with Karreuche Tran, another girlfriend with whom he separated a few weeks ago, during the weekend.
